- What is the new McLaren Artura like to live with? This is the new McLaren Artura, it is the first in a new generation of supercars from McLaren. It is built from the ground up as a new car. It's also a plug-in-hybrid! Utilising a new 3.0l twin-turbo V6 engine and an electric motor powered by a 7.4kWh battery the car is capable of a 0-62mph sprint in just 3.0 seconds. Combined, the car produces a breathtaking 671bhp and 720Nm and is capable of 19 miles of pure electric driving.
We have finally got our hands on the new McLaren Artura to find out how its drives on a daily basis. We take the car in to town and onto the open road to truly test it in every scenario.

Agree. Good down to earth review and matches the majority of users who want a nice car and understand what it is like to drive on normal roads.
IIRC that paint is called "Flux Green".
Love that menacing look of the mini Artura on the dash before start up.
Great video, thanks for giving us these insights about the Artura!
I daily the Artura too.....this is a very accurate review of the car! I have found the Artura to be a much better daily than the last 4 911s I have owned......then you stamp on the gas and the response is mindblowing.
Great real world review, better than anything else I’ve seen on CZcams. I have a gt3, and think the new Artura is something really special.
Thank you.
Great review mate
Glad you liked it!
Matt. a proper review! None of this screaming around a track or a ribbon like southern European road, even a Scottish one! And not comparing with that god awful, stupidly expensive new Ferrari 'twaddle'! Again, you have put t bed the 'internet rumour mill' abut reliability and build quality. You also highlighted the technical 'brilliance' of the Hybrid system, not least the re-gen brakes [or lack of them!] A daily super car other than a 911? Hmmm, not sure. However a 'super', super car nonetheless. Not for everyone for obvious reasons but your review for anyone in a position to consider the Artura should watch your review above all others. Your 'Car of the Year'? All the Best to You and Family in 2023. And all at Rybrook. Cheers/
Thanks Keith, hope you had a great Christmas and new year.
I love the design of this Artura. It's a McLaren for sure but it's more of a daily driver than ever before. Hybrid is exactly what you want in today's world. Having owned an all electric for two years I can tell you that the infrastructure is worse now than it was 2 years ago because more people are getting them.
It's slowly growing on me.
It is a brilliant thing.
If Lamborghini and Lotus had a lovechild.....
Lotus is not even in same league. It’s an insult to this car really.
@@SunviAhsan You are right but for the wrong reason - have had two Lotus Elise - I may have crashed the first one - and a McLaren - on build quality the new emira is far and away better than the Mclaren - get your stuff straight - also philosophy - light little luxury - fast
@@nelsonclub7722 i own emira now for 3 weeks. Got 570s as well as 9 more. If you feel emira is far superior- all i can say reassess your judgement calls perhaps? Comparing an emira to a 570s is the first red flag. Discussion ends here
The color is flux green
Presumably if you pull for a gear in elec mode nothing happens?
Have to be honest, I didn't try it.
Great video, what's the price tag for it?
Thank you, price on this one was roughly £180k.
No wireless Apple car play?
Not wireless no, it has wired CarPlay.
Sounds better than V8… hard to believe anything after that
