As a former college athlete I can look in their eyes and at body language and see who’s buying in and who’s taking it for granted, if I can see it I know darn well Prime can see it. Something as simple as being on time or early to a meeting, that little extra effort after the practice rep to act like you wanna go score.. it’s those little things that make teams more than winning teams but championship teams

With that being said, they can beat USC but if the don't it is okay because they are not suppose to beat USC in year 1 of CP. CU is now 200% better than they were last year, in terms of wins.
I respect Coach Prime, and I'm a huge Buffs fan. What needs to change is their blocking and tackling techniques. The team that blocks & tackles effectively will win.
Their D-interior has major issues. CSU exploited that and which blocking schemes work etc. undersized and bo depth. The blueprint is out there for every coach bow! It is something that is almost impossible to fix. AND now some banged up players on O-line. Their starters are good, but have NO depth! None! Coach Prime ran off a lot of guys who could step in and help….let’s not forget that.
USC can't stop the run. Time to establish a running game to estabish play action/zone read game. That is how we protect Sheduer behind the offensive line

I just love how Coach Prime adapts to any scenario. People need to REALLY take note of a true leader. Whether the team is on the top or on the bottom he leads them FORWARD with love, positivity, and hope. Kudos
Coach Kelley needs to use a 5 defensive lineman package against some of our heavy run fronts we face. You will see NFL defensive coordinators do this to stop prolific running attacks. It allows our D lineman to avoid double teams at the point of attack. It basically a 5 2 front with 2 true LB on the field. The back end will be in man coverage. If you have a weak run front you must install different packages to get better results. Staying the same base front is what high school coaches do

I remember being in a military unit that practiced exercises behind enemy lines. If we were discovered, there was only one option “ ATTACK “! Although there were only seven of us, it didn’t matter how large the enemy where, we did not retreat. Why? It’s all a part of mental conditioning. These young men are some of the most talented I have ever seen but they seem to lose focus in certain games. We only control 3% of our brains. They must create a mental conditioning that will transform them from a human to a “Dog”! I’m talking about a mental conditioning that dominates. But it starts and stops with them . Coach Kelley needs to use a 5 defensive lineman package against some of our heavy run fronts we face. You will see NFL defensive coordinators do this to stop prolific running attacks. It allows our D lineman to avoid double teams at the point of attack. It basically a 5 2 front with 2 true LB on the field. The back end will be in man coverage. If you have a weak run front you must install different packages to get better results. Staying the same base front is what high school coaches do

Going to ride or die with Prime…the way he handled the conference after the Oregon game should have been all anyone needed to hear…he took ownership, he gave cover, and he will fix the issues in house….same as kicking the cameras out for the “self-scouting”. You praise in public and discipline in private….he’s building MEN…teaching accountability and skills that these men will carry for the rest of their lives….he’s surrounded himself and these young men with MENTORS…people they can emulate, people with morals and principles….and the superstars and celebs he brings around the program are for MOTIVATION…NOT FOR CLICKS…what better to teach young men what’s possible through hard work than by surrounding them with those who have done it…..

I remember being in a military unit that practiced exercises behind enemy lines. If we were discovered, there was only one option “ ATTACK “! Although there were only seven of us, it didn’t matter how large the enemy where, we did not retreat. Why? It’s all a part of mental conditioning. These young men are some of the most talented I have ever seen but they seem to lose focus in certain games. We only control 3% of our brains. They must create a mental conditioning that will transform them from a human to a “Dog”! I’m talking about a mental conditioning that dominates. But it starts and stops with them .
