I am surprised no Modlite or Cloud defense, they both have nice options for replacing your Surefire Backup MV. I have the Cloud Defense Mch Micro Hc and the Modlite Multi-Mode Handheld PLHv2-18350. I think you would like those two, check them out.
ZebraLight still sells AA flashlights. Their website currently shows their SC53c N in stock for $64. This AA flashlight looks virtually identical to yours. It's got a Nichia 519A-V1 emitter with 4000K CCT and 93 CRI.
My primary EDC light is the cloud defensive high candela. I don't use a light on my pistol, so I wanted something with all of the candela 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️. If I leave the house I always have my bag on me, so I have a cloud defensive chicro admin light in there.

I have similar philosophy of use that you do. The SF EDC1LT has answered all my prayers.
I have been tempted to get that light a few times. I think it is the best option they have currently as a doo all.

@@johncacey which is why I'm trying out a Thrunite Archer Mini. Seems to hold up a hell of a lot better for half the price from what I've seen.
