Disturbing, strange sounds. That’s exactly what I caught on video while filming and documenting the abandoned Waldeck Mine using the ThruNite TN12 flashlight. The Waldeck Mine is an abandoned gold mine located deep in a forested canyon in the high country. I went there on a stormy night in order to document the mine while reviewing and demonstrating ThruNite's excellent TN12 handheld flashlight. The abandoned mine itself is over 150 years old and still has a lot of awesome yet dangerous timbering in its furthest reaches. There are upper levels in the Waldeck Mine, but I only explored and documented the main haulage tunnel.

I have a really hard time believing in anything supernatural, but the closest I've ever come is reccomending my buddy to go explore a mine attached to an abandoned town in Northern NV. I had been there before, it was about a 3 hour drive offroad, maybe 50-75 miles away from any kind of civilization. I had done a pretty extensive exploration of the town and the mine with a more experienced explorer who brought some rope gear. This mine was extremely dangerous, about half of it was collapsed, leading to cool above ground arch, then mine, then arch again formations above ground where the tunnel was horizontal. Deeper in, there was a lot of collapses areas leading to a few belly crawls. We explored it extensively but didn't find anything of interest unfortunately.
My buddy told me he happened to be in that area testing some new guns of his BLM land. He was a multi tour combat veteran, and said he would love to check out the ghost town and mine while he was there. I got a text from him saying he was starting his exploration and to hear back from him in about 2-5 hours.
5 mins later I get another text.
"I can't go down there."
"Why? Did it collapse more?"
"No, I just heard someone walking down there."
"What? Is anyone else at the ghost town?"
"No."
That kind of shook me up, as this dude was probably the bravest person I've ever met. He offroads all day to go see a ghost town, gets there and hears something so weird that it stops him in his tracks, and he turns around and leaves within 10 mins. It just doesn't sit right with me.
Well if it were this guy the dude in the mine would have bought a flashlight
@@nimbusregular The mine was very inaccessible, it starts with a 60 degree drop inwards and is basically a one way trip if you didn't bring climbing gear.
I don't know how far of supernatural you don't believe in but here's what I know. I grew up in Haiti I've seen people get possessed by evil spirit and dead people's soul zombie. I believe it's called zombification. As a kid I've always heard that some powerful people who practices voodoo can take the soulless zombie of someone who recently died and make them work as slaves. (Usually this works people who were involved in voodoo and people who are vulnerable to it. So they can't just do it to anybody) I always knew the evil spirit part was true but I didn't believe too much in the zombification part. But in 2016 there was this lady who we taught was possessed by evil spirits was actually zombified some people on her family who wanted her dead.
(btw they are very different. when someone get possessed by an evil spirit usually it's when people are praying and a priest or someone is doing Exorcism to chase them away, so they possessed the spiritually weakest person around, which can be physically harmful to the person being control but usually not deadly. But Zombification's sole purpose is to kill its target and possibly take control of the soulless zombies and use them as slaves and other stuff)

Listened to this with headphones. No one wants to say it but that was definitely, 100% whispering voices. Sometimes you just need to admit what it is and stop trying to "rationalize" it.
sometimes that's all you can do when faced with that. I mean, bros deep in a dark, abandoned mineshaft in the middle of fuck all with a flashlight, and starts hearing the whispers of demented souls; attempting to rationalize that is the best thing anyone can do in that situation; It'll keep you somewhat calm, at least until you get out of there.

At the part where you hear the whispers, he’s already pretty tired. You can hear how he’s breathing heavy. So I can only imagine being that tired and having to travel with your back turned to whatever you heard, in a one way out tunnel, while being exhausted. I would pass away on the spot for real. I do not believe in the paranormal, but this video alone makes me think otherwise every time I watch it.

It sounds like otherworldly entities speaking over each other, like yelling and mishmash of sounds... Spooky! After replaying the part where the noises are happening many times, I can hear something like "get out, get out". But it's pretty unclear because it sounds like multiple voices whisper-yelling over each other. The fact that the voices DID STOP right after he says, "Do you hear that?" is totally spooky. Frank definitely realized that they WERE voices and not actual snakes or birds or the wind (because it does sound a little like wind in the beginning) when he gets closer and says "Oh." Because they were not birds or snakes. Damn that is absolutely terrifying. Also, Frank has absolute balls of steel. The way he calmly navigates this situation is something I'm not sure I would have been able to do.
Yep, it definitely sounds like multiple voices whispering over each other. It's intriguing to watch the voices stop as he gets closer and asks out loud if we can hear it, to then see his reaction when it picks up again. You can see the slight tremble of the camera as he backs away with some definite fear/concern in his voice. Very compelling video, for sure.
I would have gone further down into the mine to find the source of the voices. I don’t have much to lose anyways, may as well get some potentially reality breaking footage while I’m there

Second time it spoke it said "you can't see me I'm a shadow." If it's a shadow entity, that's probably why it didn't like your light and wanted you to shut it off.

I cant express my admiration for this guy. After watching the horror movie The Descent , I will never ever enter a cave or an abandoned mine on my own or even with a companion. These creepy sounds strengthen my conviction that such places hide some mysteries not yet know for humans. I would never venture there. The mere entrance would scare the shit out of me....

In the min. 12:07 the creepy sound says: "Set me outside", in a really low tone. Then the guy stopped, and ask: "Do you hear that?". When he turns, the creepy sound in eco says: "Set me outside", most clearly.
When the filming guy says: "Sounds like a...", the creepy sound says: "Set me outside, FASTER, FASTER". just at the min. 12:18.
At the min. 12:30 the creepy sound says again: "Get me outside" several times in a threat tone, after that, the filming guy says: "You heard that?... Stopped" at the 12:33. When the guy got a little bit closer at the min. 12:40 , the sound starts again saying: "You see me in the shadows"
Finally, at the min. 12:55 just when he turns for the last time, the sound say clearly: "I'm on fire, set me outside".
I recommend you to use good quality earphones to listen just like I did. Greetings.

I legit bought a ThruNight flashlight because of this video. (A TC15 model, though.) It’s an excellent flashlight, and it keeps the demons away. A++++++ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I once was working in a isolated section of the huge warehouse complex and heard a whistle around a building in front of me, I slowly walked over to the whistle thinking it was a coworker drinking or something on the job, nope turned out i was completely alone and heard it 2 more times. I booked it out of there back to where I saw some co workers, I tell them what happened and they legit tell me “yeah, that’s why we don’t walk alone out here” years later I heard a native say to not whistle at night because they were always taught that they wouldn’t like what would whistle back

I'm sure I'm not the first to do this, but I just recorded that creepy part and boosted the audio and it was definitely not the typical sounds you'd expect. Especially the last one, it's much louder, like it's closer to you. Sounds like multiple voices saying the same thing together at first, maybe chanting, but that last bit that is closer to you, that sounded like something else, not chanting, but still multiple voices. I'm glad you got out okay. I'd definitely steer clear of there.
Honestly, after a couple decades of doing paranormal research on anything I can find...that was seriously one of the strangest audios I've ever heard. It sounds like someone has a logical explanation to it down below in the comments, but I feel like the videographer here has explored plenty of mines, knows his stuff and would be able to explain something like that or experienced at least one other time before. Also, it's odd because his voice had zero echo to it at all, and you think maybe it would reflect a little echo based on what we're hearing here.
In my personal opinion (which doesn't mean much)...that sounded like whispers and chanting. It definitely sounded like it was getting closer, and it was also echoing and repeating certain words or phrases. To me, words were being spoken. Honestly, I wonder if some black magic of some kind had been performed there - and who knows, maybe in that shaft with the rope you had pointed to. The chanting basically began taking place after you panned towards the shaft with the rope leading to it - maybe the sounds were coming from there.
Very scary actually, so please be careful. I wasn't expecting that in this video.

Once a friend of my father had a very weird experience. He was alone in a place where usually youngsters used to meet with each other. I think he was there for work and did late hours. At one point he heard a voice that unsettled him, because it was quite improbable that someone remained or came back there at such a late hour. Then he started to hear the voice regurarly and so started searching for source, especially because it was a human voice for sure. He spent half an hour searching around and trying to understand where this damn voice was coming from. And then...
It was the pinball machine that they forgot to unplug and so would from time to time make noises and say "GOOOOOAL!".
1) Came home at 2:00 a.m. Saw a 4 ft tall lady standing in front of my front door looking at me. She did not move a muscle. I asked her "what do you want"? She did not respond or move. My eyes shifted and it turned out it was a fucking tree. An optical illusion created by light and shadow.
2) Driving to a friend's house one night at around midnight. The friend is sitting passenger with me. As we go on to a long dark road towards his house surrounded by trees, we noticed that deep inside the trees the entire forest is lit up red from a source of light. Friend gets scared and tells me to stop the car. I slow down but keep driving forward. We come around the corner slowly and it turns out it's a god damn red traffic light amplified by the fog. Optical illusions are real.
I hear whispering saying "get me out of here you bastard", "I'm on fire", "get me out of here", "turn it off", "turn around", "see you on the surface", "leave this place" and "You can't you see me I'm a shadow" but it's very strange because the voice seems to be overlapping itself, almost like an echo, but it doesn't fade like an echo and sometimes the phrases even seem to overlap. That's wild. It sounds like either one single voice somehow overlapping itself while repeating multiple phrases or multiple voices. At first I thought it was saying "master", but it seems to be "get me out of here" and "you bastard" overlapping each other and repeating.
I took half an hour but i heard like " see you on surface"
Ive concluded that we share space with entities that are not noticed unless there is stillness and even then only rarely cross into our dimension. I once saw a ghost / dead man in an old building . He smiled at me as i ran up a set of steps and passed him .. i wondered why his clothes were so dated so i took a double take but when I looked back he was gone .. Since there was nowhere he could have gone so fast it creeped me out . The air was still before i saw him and i made it not still ..
I can feel his uneasiness on the way out, but he handled it like a Pro
