They should'nt junk stuff like these. Its history, once you junk it and melt it, its gone forever. people should start saving these things from cars to trucks to heavy equipment. The history's right there and be saved, like really.

That old time bucket loader at 0:25 would be worth hauling home. It's a 1960 Hough H50 Payloader, they are getting pretty rare. Parts for them are next to impossible to find, but it would still be neat to own one.

I used to love demo derbies, but now I hate you guys. It's cuz of you that these big classics ain't around anymore. FORTUNATELY, most demo derbies have BANNED Imperials, because they're so superior to regular Chryslers, Lincolns, Cadillacs, etc.

Thats a shame, but not too many people want to spend time fixing up these older trucks. Its a tragedy those old REOs got scrapped, Ive been looking at one thats early 40s like those, some parts are really hard to find for them. What a waste.

Just curious, at 4:17, phone number on truck is 542-7885 then at 5:52, there is a truck that says Buffalo, NY on it. I put the two of them together and was wondering if these are in Western NY area as the phone number exchange (542) is for Akron which is about 20 miles to the east of Buffalo.

I enjoy "adventures" in abandoned spots as well, but there are at least TWO-things I can't stand: First is HORNETS' nests, and a close second is COPPERHEADS! Comin' in third is HUMIDITY!!! GAHHHH!☺
I prefer the winter months for such, but even then y' gotta watch for critters who are making the winter-home in old-cars. That, and weak, crumbly shed roofs/floors, esp. when ice packed.
But it sure beats sittin' out EITHER-season, sittin' on my-ass end, even if my knees don't agree...!☺

People don't realize probably who ever owned this stuff was trying to run a business but also liked picking up different stuff to tinker with but never really found the time to do so. I do same thing I buy stuff then it just sits some people have good intentions but life happens and things dont work the way we intended. More than likely they have passed away. I just baught 15 cars that were 60s 70s era that were on a farm for years but they were so far gone you couldn't save them they all went to scrap except one I sold it for a parts car.

Its sunk in the ground to the point where you cant see under it.This property was a sawmill it is close to my property the story with this place is there was a serious on the job accident which in turn the insurance company closed the sawmill this happened in the mid 70s and has been closed ever since. I wish I knew who owns the property I would like to buy the military veh.
