How to Use Anchor Text and Properly Interlink in 2019

- Today we'll discuss how to properly interlink your money pages to your supporting articles, and how to best use anchor text in 2019.
Yesterday a lot of people asked if you should interlink your money pages back to your supporting articles. YES, absolutely. It makes your money pages look more authoritative and rank higher.
However we want to do it in a manner which does not sacrifice our traffic to those non-profitable links. So what we need is a "Scroll Map" to identify how far down our traffic scrolls before leaving the page.
BELOW the drop off point is where we want to interlink to the supporting articles because 90% of our traffic will never see those links.
Everything ABOVE the drop off point needs to be wrote to convert our customer, with CTA's to our offer.
Everything below the drop off point is wrote for Google.That's why we place our interlinks back to our supporting articles below the drop off point. To appease google and look more authoritative but not lose any potential traffic which we wish to send to an offer.
We want to appropriately funnel our traffic, without a scroll map this is nearly impossible. FOR EXAMPLE, my traffic scrolls down about 50% of my reviews before leaving. So the first 50% of my review is all about converting the reader. Below my drop off point, it's everything that Google wants to see.
Now the MAJORITY of traffic dies at the drop off point, but there's those really investigative readers or about 5-10% of your traffic which will make it below the drop point and read more. Potentially clicking on those interlinks back to the supporting articles. This makes the links look active to Google, so it's ok if they don't get much action.

Do you link from those supporting Pages back to Money Pages? Of yes then what anchors? Best Regards.
Yes of course! Use Google trends, enter your main keyword to identify related keywords (See supporting articles video for walk-through), writing supporting articles using those related keywords, link supporting articles back to money page.
This helps to look so much more authoritative in Google eyes and that's what Google wants. The most complete informative answer for whatever keyword a user is searching for. If you have it covered from all angles you'll improve drastically in rankings vs competitors with a one time article on your keyword and a bunch of pbn backlinks.
You can also link money pages back to supporting articles by using a heat map, identify the drop off point and link back to the relative supporting articles that way you don't lose potential traffic to those links but win Google over by looking more complete/authoritative.
For anchors, use long tail anchor text. Exact match anchor text doesn't work well these days and Google is on the hunt for us SEO's trying to manipulate the system. So make it look natural. Don't be afraid to use the URL as anchor text every one in the while for example at the bottom of guest post like a signature.
