Kallithea gyro's short approach into KWHP...

After waiting for traffic to clear the runway, i cut the power and dove for the numbers. Air taxi to the exit saved me from taxiing for too long on the runway with the rotor spinning.
My Kallithea gyroplane allows me to execute such maneuvers with ease...

I love how we can make adjustments to our altitude so easily. Recently I was flying to a location for lunch, but the headwinds were stronger than forecast, so I diverted to a field below me. I was at 2500, so I moved outside of the pattern and did a vertical descent to pattern altitude. Easy work.

I could have shorten it just a bit more, but a fixed wing was crowding the runway as I was on the downwind leg.
