A charlie horse is targeting nerves to cause the muscles to spasm or tense up, not comparable to a leg kick, it's more comparable to pulling a chair out from under someone
@@historylover7549 Punching someone in the thigh, is fine to compare with getting kicked in the thigh. People who know how much it hurts to get punched in the thigh, can then imagine how much more it hurts to get a shin to the thigh. Some fighters, like Tony Ferguson, will even throw a jab to the opponent's thigh and that by comparison, would also not be as painful as a leg kick. And a number of leg kicks can target several nerves in the legs, that "pulling a chair out from under someone" is the completely irrelevant comparison; that has no place in the discussion. I'm comparing a punch in the leg, to a much more painful kick in the leg and you're bringing up a childish prank?
There’s a lot more weight to a leg, and getting your own leg kicked must fucking hurt by kick-boxers, most people would fall straight away 😂 it just doesn’t look as bad cos these guys train to take them.
@@carlosmelgarejo2593 same! We must say that, He was very lost in the fight too. He was turning his back trying get away from nates long punches but. If we're talking straight up shins, we must give it to Tony. The dude can chop wood with his legs.b

As a dude who does MMA training and sparring, I can say that them kicks hits way different than punches like a punch may not get you down, but a good leg kick with send to to the canvas and those leg kicks depending on how hard can someone kick could actually end careers 💀💀
I can do leg kicks but honestly I’d probably break my leg like Anderson Silva in a ufc fight. I got massive tree trunks thighs and little Jon Johns calf’s so lots of power on little surface area. One checked kick and I’m limping for sure
I was play fighting with a friend and went light on a kick and he checked it on the knee and my leg was immediately compromised. That hurts like hell. On the other hand i got hit with a hard leg kick a couple of times even by a friend that did kickboxing and I'll tell you that's way worse. The shin hurts when you step but it doesn't cripple you. The leg kick will have you limp for a couple days and give you a nice bruise for about a month
