Ui is better for long term play. Collab characters are just for collection, they would end up becoming filler units in your roster.
UI is not a unique or temporary obtainable character like mika right?
I only have 15K pyro and i dont want to just waste it all without an option of pity.
I only have a month in the game so i ask you for a recommendation
@@MauricioLSB she is not a limited character. However if you watched the video all the way through, it does mention that hoping to spook her is not that easy. But if you think your pyro situation is a problem, then it would be understandable to skip now.

@@MauricioLSBthere are alot of important banners coming. If you're short on pyroxenes, skip the collab banner and Ui's banner. Himari is coming, and then Hina Dress + Hoshino Swimsuit (Mika too but not exclusive on banner), and then NY. Fuuka. Those 5 are VERY strong characters so it's worth saving for them rn. And NY. Fuuka works similar to Ui, so it's fine to skip next week's banner coming soon.
Agreed, I never used my Hatsune Miku, I remembered spending 100 pulls there
Today they announced a livestream for the 2.5 anniv on April 26th. And it says they have an exciting reveal of fresh content, but it doesn't look like Railgun colab... Although, CM Arcie said she is getting a new outfit and it seemed to be an Academy City uniform.
I'm a new player and just hit this game on early April 2024. Thanks to you, now i know that getting Ui is a must for the next banner. Thanks a lot. 👍
Let me help to add explain some UI stuff brother GuitarRock.
In terms of using Ui to cut off the cost. Already gives example 6(Mika) or Some of 5 cost student, they will using skill before the supporter just like Mika if you using Mika > Ako > Himari with maximum cost 10 there will be delay because Mika use 6+3+3, but if you using Ui Mika will have 3 cost so it can be Mika > Ako > Himari > throw ex > Mika before the Ako and Himari buffs run out. This kind of thing man... big damage!!

20 dollars for a 3* choice ticket or 200 pulls for Ui, hard choice 😭😭
If you can spare the money (plz don't buy it if you're stuggling) and don't mind spending money on games, it's a really good deal for a good character.

I started playing 2/3 months ago, I bought it almost immediately, but Never saw any other new package in the shop ever since but I wish there were lol I want to collect more students quickly without selling my house to do so😅😂
@@holothewisewolf405 It indeed appears from time to time, I'm not sure about the exactly time lapse since the current one is set for 30 December 2024, but I doubt it will take this longer, If I remember correctly few months ago from this one there was another choice ticket

After I read the collab unit's kit they're not really appealing to me. So I think it's better to pull for Ui instead, since she can enable many high EX cost students to be used as soon as possible.
Also I like her voice
She's absolutely vital for my account, and glad I bought her. She enables my T.Hibiki (who desimates red PVE content with support). And now trying Hinata and seeing similar results.

collab for me, i can always get spooked by her, I can't get spooked by collab in the future
my plan is to wait till last day of banner, if they announce collab i'm skipping ui, if not i'm all in ui. Reason being you still have a chance to spook her in double rate banner (even though its hard), there are still options to get her from select 3 Star ticket too. but once collab finish you cant get that special recollection lobby anymore
Well i should pull for Ui because i am a newbie. My first thought when i heard we should save up for collab its they will be over power like S.hoshino or Mika but thank to this dude for review kits and top character we need to pull
Already have Ui, but I've never watched Railgun so I'm not a current fan of Mikoto or Misaki. Guess it just means more pyros for Kikyou.
Same here. Don't care for Railgun, so it just doesn't justify the need for pulling eventhough they are limited collab.
If you like Blue Archive for its story and characters, you'll like Railgun.

Hey. What about a Mystic guide? I have most of your "Must Have"s from the 2024 tier list. And saved up like +3700 eligmas 'couse I totally forgot I can 5* a character before Hasumi track event. But I don't know who to prioritize.

Any of the limited Fes DPS units are worth to UE50, such as Wakamo, Mika, Dress Hina (you should save 2400 eligma for Hina for sure if you have done the others already). After that, then any waifu or unit you use a lot is worth it to ue50. Theres a few ue40's that are useful for their subskill, like Himari, but much lower priority. Or you can save eligma until you are close to defeating a raid boss and just need a bit more damage with your dps.
Pity for Ui on my secondary account. LOL
Picked up Kanna, Rumi, Mine and Saori along the way.
Most people don't put UI for support so if you don't have her pick her up, it's one less important student you don't have to potentially borrow
Got at least enough for 420 pulls atm, so i'll try a couple times for Ui, and focus on the collab and hope she spooks me if I don't manage to get her on banner.
I just want someone to focus now, I have limited XP to use, but I need to use the event 2x to get at least enough T3/4 for any new girls I might need soon, my main girls are already T4/5

I also am running low on XP materials, especially the purple ones, the higher level characters consume too much material to lvl up 🫠
I've been consistent in playing daily n completing daily tasks but haven't completed the story mode and other side quests XD

Damn, I was confident with my pyrox saving at first. Was saving for Kikyou, Himari and the festival banner. But then they announced Ako's rerun, and now Ui's rerun got moved forward?
I have spent 20k pyro to get megu on guaranteed. Now i am at 2k pyro, hopefully i can get 24k again before NY mutsuki. Kinda wish i could get that for bunny neru but i kinda lost hope for that

In their last jp dev live stream(not the recent one) they mentioned that collab will have reruns. It was brought up in valiant’s video about that live stream.
So it could be “safe” to skip collab and try your luck on rerun unless you’re a collector or a huge fan of railgun. But it’s not guaranteed it will be the same for global.
With that knowledge UI>railgun collab. She’s better waifu.

Its weird that her kit says rounded *down* to nearest whole number but in reality it rounds *up* to the nearest whole number
It's the decrease that is rounded down, and the resulting EX cost that is rounded up, so it makes sense, just not too clear of a wording.
Newb question. If I have Cherino and S Hoshino do I really need Ui? Isn't increasing cost recovery and halfing cost recovery doing similar things?
Always good to have more options in the toolkit. I use Ui a lot despite having both Cherino and S.Hoshi, for example on blue raids. Arguably NY Fuuka pretty much covers all Ui is good for, so if you have one of those two you are pretty good.
agreed with the answer having more options is better, my scuffed team relied on having Cherino for cost recov subskill, Ui to half the cost of the main dps, and Himari to further power up the dps and add even more cost recovery.
If deciding between Ui and Kikyou knowing that I will pull for N.Y. Fuuka for cost cut later this year what should I choose?

Never fish in BA. Pull only when you have pity.

Important note: It's important to have meta characters to clear end game content to have pulling currency in the first place
My S.Hifumi is level 1, but relationship level 20 with bond equipment T2. Never used her 😂

What will happen you you use UI for Sports hasumi?
Only 1 cost reduction, because the reduction is only based on the initial cost (3 cost and 50% reduction = 1 cost reduction rounded down), so the cost will become 2-4 instead of 3-5 for two uses.

Himari is not limited, so yes. But the probability is extremely low. Only if you're lucky.
