Varikkasseri Mana is the most popular and famous in Kerala for Malayalam Cinema Shooting Location. This traditional Kerala style Namboothiri home is located at Manisseri near Ottappalam in 4 Acres.
Theertham was the first movie which used this home in malayalam cinema.Later when superhit mohanlal movie devasuram came out, this location became popular among cinema workers and Cinema lovers.
after Devasuram lot of malayalam films used varikkasseri mana as their favourite cinema shooting location.
Aram Thamburan, Dhrona, Rappakal, Mamangam, Ananthabhadram, Body Guard, Pretham 2, Kavalana, were the other movies shot at varikkasseri Mana.
Varikassery mana has its own special stardom among other shooting locations of kerala.
Narasimham:The backdrop of the dance scene in Narasimham where Mohanlal and crew of stars danced to the song"Dham dhinak dhillam dhillam" was shot in the Mana.
The mana is utmost beautifully captured in the film "Sufi paranja katha"
The mana is inseparable from the scenes of Mohanlal starrer movie Devasuram directed by I.V Shashi.The stunning interior of the mana is beautifully captured in the film.

Mohanlal starrer film 'Hallo' especially the song 'Chellathamare' was shot in the nadumuttam and the surrounding areas of mana and scenes of the film were also mostly shot in the mana.
