i tried to update via your video instructions, the navi says "failed unreadable disk", what may be the problem should i try other USB drive ?

Wie heist ihrem Citroen jetzt am bleutooth? Peugeot? Das ist passiert mit meinen Picasso.....
Wie so hab ich Sys. version: SMEG6.05.D.R8 vom 27-02-15 und du hast neuere version vom 01-12-15 aber SMEG5.4.B.R8 ? Aber in citroen c4, also wird es wahrscheinlich fur menie auto nicht funktionieren.

I have a Peugeot 308 T9,2013. smeg4.1.B.R8 version CD: 20329 06/14/2013. Software 21.31. What version could I upload to this radio? Do I gain something new after uploading??? Am I missing anything?? Please help..
My peugeot 308 doesn't have build in navigation, is it possible to install navigation in my smeg? Or is there any way to transfer navigation from my phone to smeg display?
this is not going to work because the donwload doens't have any maps included.
i only know a modul with it you have video input put it is expensive so you can connect your phone with a cable.

Hi aaron. My peugeot 308 is 2017 and it has the same smeg multimedia as yours. I was wondering if i need to update the software on it to use CarPlay or i must change the whole multimedia. Didnt find the complete answer on any forum, if you know please tell me more
As far as i know car play is also a hardware change. But i can not say for shure. Greetings

Try to long press on the soft Buttons around the display when you get different menus i don't know exactly is this version works with your car

I don't know how to change anything in this firmware because it is allready compiled. I don't have any source code for it sorry :(
Will this update make it possible to mirrorlink an android phone to the screen. Everything is nice and tidy in this new 308 allure, however I miss the possibility of mirrorlink.

wie kommt da eine neue software raus? Ist das dir/euch auch schon mal passiert wenn ihr ein adroid handy (z5 compact) mit kabel an den usbport anhängt das navi abschmiert?

Doch ich hatte zu Anfang ein Android (ZTE) dran und der ganze Boardcomputer ist regelmäßig abgeschmiert, mit iPhone 6s nie Probleme gehabt

Da kann ich dir leider nicht helfen da ich das navi nicht updaten kann, habe keine dateien davon. Grüße

Danke für das ausführliche Video und den Link :) Ich habe einen C4 Picasso EZ 03/15 mit SMEG 5.2.C.R1. Bei mir funktioniert das Update leider nicht denn nach einstecken des USB Stick bekomme ich keine Reaktion vom Gerät, Daten sind alle entpackt auf dem Stick.
Jetzt habe ich nochmal mit anderen Stick probiert, auch eine andere SMEG Version. Ich bekomme dann die Meldung das keine Musikdateien auf dem Stick sind, somit ist mein Gerät bestimmt nicht updatefähig, jedenfalls nicht von mir :(
+Volker K. Kann auch gut sein das dieses update nicht bei deinem auto funktioniert und du eine andere datei brauchst.

@@Krume79 update-om nemozes dodavati nove opcije ( navigacija , CarPlay, android auto) u svoj smeg+ jer je to stari model multimedije.

Spaja se na postojeći ekran ništa se ne reže. Samo se drugačije žice spoje. Sve radi super.

kann ich diese Update auch für einen Citroen C4 Picasso (EZ 2014) mit SMEG verwenden? Er fragt ja bzhw. prüft die Kompatibilität ab. Hat das schin jemand gemacht?

Wi Kami moin. wenn die vorhandene versionsnummer ähnlich ausschaut und das display ähnlich ist sollte es funktionieren. natürlich ohne gewähr.
es sind für alle hersteller die bilddateien in der firmware, also hast du später auch kein peugeot logo :D

leider funtkionert der download über mega-uplaod nicht wie gewüsncht. Ich bekome ein über 4GB grosses Dateimonster statt der Firmware. Hat jemand eine Ahnung wo man die Firmware downloaden kann?

Ist eine 1.09gb grosse datei.
Ist aber über den pc besser zu downloaden.
Dazu auf den link klicken und auf "Im Browser Downloaden"

Hallo Wi Kami, hast du es nun ausprobiert, würde mich auch interessieren, habe c4 Picasso EZ 2015 und würde auch gern aktualisieren.
So ich hab es getestet und eine Woche in Angst und Bange gelebt, da das Update nicht fertig geworden ist, habe am Tag 1 den Motor 7 Std laufen lassen und dann aufgegeben. In der Werstatt haben sie mir gesagt das sie das Gerät einschicken zu Clarion und mich der Spaß 560 € kostet :( Ich habe aber dann nochmal recherchiert und gelesen das ich die Batterie mal abklemmen soll. Hab ich getan und dann hat das Update problemlos gefunzt, hat 20 min gedauert und habe jetzt die Version 5.4.1.B.R.4 drauf :)
Ich habe einen wichtigen Verbesserungsvorschlag, Bitter keine Musik im Hintergrund laufen lassen, das stört sehr. Vielen Dank.
