I recently painted my front upper valance and my tailgate. I left the garage door open to speed up the process while gnats landed in the paint! I know how it feels! That color match though!

I did the same on my truck only in white and it is a ton of work for sure. I did mirrors and door handles also. Great job, does look incredible. Now if only Ram would get the memo...LOSE THE CHROME! Chrome should have to be an option! Not standard.

did the same for my RAM. Took a lot of time, luckily my bumpers were already painted by previous owner so I worked off that. BUT I LOVE chrome bumpers on trucks so kinda wish mine were chrome when I got it.

Nice truck I like what you doing to it I just recently bought a 2019 Dodge Ram single cab classic Express with a 5.7 I've been looking a lot of trucks that are channels and forums and it seems like everyone is doing the same exact thing to your vehicles as of yet I'm still writing stock truck trying to get some ideas and be different from every truck out there but for now I'm going to just enjoy the stock version
Usually, I'm more of a chrome person, particularly for older trucks, but this looks awesome!!!

You didnt lay some epoxy primer on the bumpers? Nor any bulldog etc on the grille? Itll help with chips and everything will adhere so much better in the long run and wont fly off
I have a question about when you were installing the tire on the rims. I’ve seen that fire trick used a lot in videos. Is that the official and proper way to do it or just a fun way? If so can you explain why? I assume it uses the rapid change in pressure to mount it, but how does it stay inflated? Thanks.
Best way to dovrock chips is mix the color with the clear and put it in a hypodermic needle the bigger the better and fill the chips . Paint supply stores sell a needle for doing it.

Flat black mine … interior too, dyed seat covers , used I have I live in far north , not remote though just that auto body shops and paint shops 100miles , cities a further , 500

Since you put the bigger wheels and tires on you might want to consider putting xpel clearshield on the bottom from the lower body line down to help prevent anymore rock chips

You should get matching black fog lights to match the head lights
Why not wrap part of your truck with protective film so you dont get rock chips?

If you want to protect your paint and avoid Rock chips, then you should get a nice pair of big and mean looking mud flaps.

I have the 1500 sport in sublime green too but mine has a pearl in it and it’s a dent magnet. Does the 2500 not have a pearl? To repair my last dent from a baseball size rock thrown from a riding mower will cost over $1500 to repair.
This color is called Hills Green on the 2500’s and has no pearl!! It’s a bit different from the sublime!!
I don't know if its because its sublime- lime with pearl or just the shop but I have a ram1500 in Brilliant crystal pearl black and I was quoted at $1500 to fix several dents and respry the whole truck and clear coat but I'm in the middle of nowhere Tennessee.
james rebstock wow what a deal!! I went to several places and it was the same. When I bought it I was rear ended a month later. Just bumper damage but that was over $5000 to replace and repaint just the bumper. And in the sun it doesn’t match the rest of the truck.
