  • Many Christians today say the Rapture is not in the Bible.
In this video, pastor John MacArthur breaks down this revelation to the apostle Paul by God Himself.
MacArthur talks about the 3 pillars of the Rapture, the participants, God's plan for the Rapture, and the purpose of the Rapture.

What pastor John is saying is we all need to believe in Jesus our Lord . We will not go to hell if we believe in the rapture. MOST IMPORTANT PLEASE BELIEVE IN JESUS ,SO IMPORTANT.

If you're saved, but don't know about or believe in the rapture, you will still go to Heaven. It has to do with your salvation not your ignorance in parts of His word.

Belief means nothing. The Bible says that even the demons believe in God, and shudder. It is by faith and obedience we make it to Heaven. I'm not trying to be critical I'm trying to help. James 2:19-21 NASB
You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. [20] But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless? [21] Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?

Believing in Jesus gets you into heaven, if you don’t live like the devil. The devil believes and you must know where he is going.

It’s very unbiblical sorry not Jesus teaching but of man’s in 1800. Regardless it won’t make or break you, just stay true to your faith. I like it the best the way Billy Graham put it when asked this question. He answered I believe a Jesus can do whatever he wants. That is true. But boy that would have been nice for all the people that have died for Christ. Over Christmas break 100 of Christian’s died in Africa for their faith, what makes you or me better than them.

    Hi,
How could the Thessalonians NOT have had the experience Paul was encouraging them with if Paul was TELLING them it would happen TO THEM?
It had to have happened to ‘those who ARE alive’ then (the Thessalonians) or Paul (The Holy Spirit) misspoke. Something is off in the teaching that it didn’t happen way back then.

    • @vinchinzo594
      @vinchinzo594 Před rokem

He WASN'T telling them it would happen to them. You have presented a false dichotomy. Neither is true, it did not happen to the Thessalonians (obviously) and the Holy Spirit does not misspeak (obviously). There is a third, much more likely answer; Your interpretation is incorrect. As Dr. MacArthur exegeted for you, but you must not have been listening. This is a future event. The "we who are alive" mean those who are alive *when it happens* as opposed to those who are dead *when it happens.* This is made abundantly clear by the context in and for which he is giving this teaching.

It is written in the five Books of Moses detailed; instructions, measurements, design, materials used and construction techniques.first the ark of the covenant which contains the Ten Commandments (Gods word) and Aaron’s budded staff.all the wonders done through the staff was the word.when the staff budded the word made flesh.next an altar, both where inside the tabernacle of the congregation, which was in the centre of the camp of the children of Israel.if we draw a plan of the camp using the measurements we get a cross.
For 40 years the children of Israel wandered around the desert in the shape of a cross.in the centre of the cross was Gods word, the word made flesh and an altar.

When the rapture happens the believers that died would be resurrected first taken up and the then the believers left alive on the same day will be taken up! All believers will be in Heaven until the 7 year tribulation is going on!

    Ezekiel 13:20 states:
"Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, where with ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly."
Its later clarified by Paul that satan will come first in the entire book of 2nd Thessiloians.
People who believe in the Rapture are not reading Thessiloians with understanding. Pastors who teach this are setting up their congregation to fall for satan hook line and sinker. A perfect example of following the traditions of men instead of the bible is the Rapture. A woman who is a self described seere named Margret MacDonald around 1830 in America claimed to have a "vision" of the rapture that 2 preachers heard and revived an old lie. It's CLEARLY stated in the old Testament in Ezekiel Ch13. The Lord is warning us of false prophets and in Ezekiel 13:20 states:
"Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly."
Its later clarified by Paul that satan will come first in the entire book of 2nd Thessiloians.
Pastors quote 1st Thessiloians 4:17 without understanding that Paul was talking about people who have already died. They are already in heaven, they are not in a hole in the ground. Go back to verse 13 and read from there and see the following post for more information regarding the big lie of our time.
When Paul said "cloud" It means crowd (throng.) In the singular it's used about 3 times more frequently than the plural "crowds"(oxloi) The singular and plural should be distinguished in translation because they each express distinct nuances.
If you need help understanding some of the words of the bible going all the way back to the Greek and Hebrew, I suggest getting a Strong's Concordance to get the correct meaning of the words in both the Hebrew and Greek.
