This is a great start for gathering this concert! Unfortunately, there are a few parts not online, but one that was missed was his performance of Girl with the Flaxen hair. It's also in the archives channel.
Thanks Anonymous Cat - what a treat - Ted makes that guitar sing - beyond words how a jazz master can make a 'rock' guitar sound like - this is what makes CZcams amazing - piece of heaven right here!
The only disappointing thing about this performance is that it ended. And this isn't the full concert, he's definitely transitioning into "Summertime" at the end.
As far as I know, Joey Backenstoe was simply a friend of Ted's, but his performance at this wedding has been immortalized due to the popular video called "Most Beautiful Guitar Playing EVER - Ted Greene 4 Song Medley" uploaded by the TedGreeneArchives channel.
@@anonymouscat6207 Joey was one of Ted's students. After the recording of Girl with the Flaxen hair that is heard online, Joey took Ted's guitar and performed a piece for his wife.

@@tomascampbell7591 Oh, I didn't realize that performance was part of this concert, good to know!
This is not playing guitar. This is telling stories.
Ted was the best chordal guitarist by a country mile. His version here of Time After Time is off-the-scale amazing.
one of the gods of music
so inspired. what a phenomenal musical imagination and ability...
Master of harmony!
Ted Greene -- A Wonder of Nature. WONDERFUL~~~
Ted, a Harmonic Genius!!
I love how he’s still wearing 1979 lapels in 1989 👌🏻
Trends moved differently back then. Now, everyone has had the same “style” for 20 years.
Mesmerizing.
What a great vibe for a wedding. 🎉

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS THANK YOU AND TED SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you for uploading this!
Thank you!!
👍👍👍👍👍
Respectfully, should I know who “Joey B” is, or was he simply a friend of Ted’s?
