Eclectic Collecting with @TealBamboo

Tina is a military pilot whose work has taken her around the world including to Japan and California. She enjoys beachcombing as a hobby and as a great way to recharge after a long work week. In this fun video, she shares some of the many treasures she’s found and their histories, including glass floats, favorite sea glass, seashells, agates, fossils, Japanese figurines and toys, game pieces, pottery, tiles, and more.

So much to see in this amazing collection! I especially loved seeing the glass floats that have barnacles and/or pieces of wood and plastic attached. Also the kokeshi doll and ornate roof tile cap. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and collection Tina!

Beachcombing is such fun! No glass floats here along the US Mid Atlantic coast, but have found lots of sea glass, sharks teeth, fossils & Native American arrowheads & spear points.

......if you would ever be aminable to doing trades for doubles of stuff.....I am a twenty plus year stone bead maker, and collector, who loved the Pacific shores dearly, but have for the past seven years been living in.....rural south central Kansas.....as absurd as it seems.......I have many great stones, as well as ....literally thousands .....of drilled stone beads......all of your glass finds are really great, and I ....of course....see them as.....ultimately drillable pieces....hope to hear from you......either way...yeah or neigh.......C.P
