    I’ll never understand why people didn’t like ep4. It had great music and Tokyo day is still one of my favorite stages. It gives me fond nostalgia of going to the mall to buy the original PSO back in the day.

      If you really tried to understand what story ep4 told,you will find that it's bascially a side story but put into main story forcibly.

      @guffingtonreal Před 9 měsíci +1

      It's filler, in the end nothing happened except an isekai. No impact on our story at all.

    • @metcas
      @metcas Před 6 měsíci +2

      I thought it was obvious. While I did enjoy EP4, it took us completely out of the established story from EP1-3. Basically turned the series into a full-on isekai. Still, like I said, I enjoyed it. But I can completely see why the average player may have been turned off by it. Especially since we were now following the story of Earth girls in high school. The shouta bait too was pretty disturbing (playing as an adult nowadays).

      a lot of people are saying ep 4 is filler but a lot of big plot points were shown in ep 4 like a prototype xion clone with mother it also preps us for the evolution and purification of dark falz with the concept of aether which is how omega can even exist and on top of all of that if we did not have the power of hitsugi's sword persona would still be trapped forever

      Only in the game in that area, on daytime, or on this channel for that specific version, note that from 14:10 to the end, you can hear some "booms", this was added by me, the boom sound do exist in game, but it randomly happpens when going back to the campship, during Tokyo nightime moreso, i managed to get it isolated by sheer luck, in-game you will encounter the parts but without the "booms" :P

    • @cybermeteor
      @cybermeteor  Před 6 lety +9

      It was recorded in-game, then i sorted the parts together and other things as the music is randomized in-game

    • @AnglAfro
      @AnglAfro Před 6 lety

      Eh, it works. What did you use to record? Windows 10 doesn't allow stereo mixing anymore, so I can't do things the way i used to.

    • @cybermeteor
      @cybermeteor  Před 6 lety +7

      To record, i used Audacity (which is free) with the WASAPI mode for the "Audio host", recorded in 24 bit and 96KhZ (be wary it'll take quite some space like 2 GB for 1 hour of music), also you'll have to set the "playback device" and "recording device" so they use the sound card and not the speakers then "recording channels" as stereo, or if you do like i do (keeping the speakers as playback device and recording device), put headphones during recording because doing it with speakers (wether from screen or external speakers) will also record the room "air" your PC is in, making it sound very weak and unbalanced when playing what's been recorded (if your room is like 5 m² it'll make a very spacey or distant sound for example). And verify every time you open Audacity if the settings were resetted or not.
      Also, using WASAPI mode, it'll record any sound your sound card will render/play, so you have to make sure only the music is playing while recording. Wether it is sound notifications from Skype/discord.... or sounds from internet, it'll be recorded alongside the music if you're not careful.
      And for editing, i'm using Reaper DAW (digital audio workstation), pretty cheap (60$) and as good as Pro Tools (and better on some parts). Also i'm on windows 8.1 64 bits but if Win 10 got the WASAPI mode, it should work there too.

    • @cybermeteor
      @cybermeteor  Před 6 lety +5

      Oh i forgot to clarify something, i'm not using Reaper to record because i couldn't figure out how to set it up to record like Audacity does lol, basically i was always ending up having Reaper accumulating an "air sound" over time while nothing was playing, until it reached +12db in the master mix which was unbeareable and dangerous to my ears. Audacity was quick to figure out and set up and worked excellent as long as i got my in-ear plugged in the PC :p

      If you mean the voice, then probably Idola. She's done a lot of Sega's musical voice work. I could be wrong though.

    • @Icu282
      @Icu282 Před rokem +1

      @@soloshermitshack4955 I know this is from almost a year ago, but Idola is the name of a Phantasy Star Mobile game and the name of the titan like monster forms of Dark Falz (as opposed to the humanoid forms). Not the name of a singer.
      And prior to pso2 the songs with Idola in their name did not have singers. A lot of English songs (except the Quna songs) in PSO2 are sang by either Aimee Blackschleger or Florence Mcnair.
      And the English singers in the game Idola are Shaylee Mary and Florence Mcnair.

      @cybermeteor  Před 8 lety +5

      +gamerman1761991 Well, the thing is i'm not a fan of the night version tbh, i don't really dislike it either, however it has no randomness nor hidden/rare music parts, so it wouldn't be too much work to do unlike the daytime version. So, i'll probably do it some day, but i can't promise it'll be the next music i'll upload ;)
