Viscera Cleanup Detail - Glitch/Secret "Riding" the Procedural Level Generation

  • This map was originally one of the projects that seemed "impossible" because it seems it is hard to make something like this in UE3 especially in a finished game that only lets you do things with mostly kismet. (Luckily we have debris objects in that game so this makes things a little easier)
    If one is able to see the kismet window of this map, he will be surprised because i managed to even lag that window lol
    Not sure but if i remember right, it took me more than half a month (of constant work and that mostly full days) making this map even possible.
    After playing around a little i found this funny bug that makes the level generation go to the player's direction causing a chain reaction.
    It mostly recorded it because it is surprising how the game/engine can even handle it. (Also surprised how no debris objects are left behind)
    This would cause an instant crash if there was no cleanup after each generation step.
    Found out randomly by myself after i randomly went around on top of the generation.

    Its not crashing because it's probably having a good garbage collector ha. ha.
