the movie was pretty good, but not perfect yet. but then the series elevated the story to a totally awesome level (in this sense i agree). but while this does happen rarely (true), it's not literally the only example. eg. Fargo the movie was pretty cool, but then so was the Fargo series.
Watching this scene is like having all of your nerve endings exposed. All the emotion I've ever felt about all the bad shit that's happened in my life just comes flooding out when I watch this. I still remember the pain of watching it for the first time and just having to pause it because I couldn't take any more.
This scene is so insane. Shane Meadows is so good at creating relationships between the characters and setting up interweaving storylines. The actors are so awesome as well. Such a special series with such amazing, lovable, real human characters. Probably my all time favorite TV show ever.

What bothers me is that these ppl r true artist and they do not get the recognition and admiration as they should. Maybe if they were a little more versatile as lets say Jennifer Aniston, Nick Cage or Adam Sandler this could happen. Proof that nothing is fair in this life.

Combo brainwashed Shaun, told him he'd never hurt him, then nearly killed Milky and told Shaun to fuck off. All I got from this season was Milky is as nasty as Combo used to be.
Thomas Turgoose had hardly any dialogue there, and I feel he was just genuinely moved as an observer. I wouldn't be surprised if there was hardly any scripting, and Shane Meadows just said "Go with it!"

And tho he beat Milky..he didn’t have to have him killed. Poor Combo...we’re praying he is just slightly mutilated somewhere and Shane will bring him back soon. 🙏🏼
