- Things are finally coming together.
Midst is an audio drama in which three mischievous narrators spin a surreal, reality-bending, sci-fantasy space western about a crotchety outlaw, a struggling cultist, and a diabolical bastard making awful decisions in a world on the edge of disaster.

In which we learn that the mail car is actually only the second worst ship in this universe.
There is a visceral dislike to this ship!
I have been in the far reaches of the internet, and been subjected to fanfics nobody ever asked for, and I can say this ship is the most vile ship to ever see the light of day.
At least they deserve each other!
Word! 🙌
Oh this made me laugh out loud
"does the world outside this room exist while we're not narrating it?"
That is a good question
Oh his heart rate is speeding up to kill her... wait.. oh that's definitely not murder
It's a KIND of murder...
I fully thought he was about to merk her
inless hes a lady killer...im sorry
It's worse... it's, so much worse...
Well it is a crime… of passion.
Midst is a horror podcast, and safe to say I am sufficiently horrified
Imelda swearing out of nowhere hit me harder than the seventh greeble depreciating after provision 338 amortizes the dealer's subsidiaries!
Glad it wasn't just me!
Underrated comment!! 😭😭😭
It was hysterical when all of the narrators wanted nothing more than to nope out of the entire episode.
Well, two out of three. Wtf, Narrator 1...
@@rosevanzeeland904 hush now, don't kinkshame
@GlebSeva Look, in this instance, and this instance alone, I think we all deserve a little kinkshaming. As a treat. -For having to sit through... -_-all of *that*.-_
@@rosevanzeeland904 fair. I stand corrected, continue kinkshaming.
I love how we've been gaslit into knowing what a Bocular Horse is, and now we're getting gaslit into knowing what Jod is hahaha
What do you mean 'gaslit'? It's Jod!
You’ve never played Jod? Mate, it’s a great time.
I personally love Jod! Best way to play is on tabletop simulator In my opinion! There’s a version on the workshop that has everything scripted so you don’t have to worry as much about set up.
That is, of course, assuming it hasn’t removed for copyright reasons. So if you have trouble finding it, that’s why.
Honestly, Jod is overrated, but it's also an enduring classic everyone knows and loves (or maybe just knows)
@@RolandVonRose @riverkath I must disagree there. As much as it pain me to agree with Weepe, Jod is a boring game. There are so many games out there better that it.
I *AM* UPSET I AM UPSET AND I WATCHED THROUGH THAT ENTIRE SEQUENCE TOO I AM SO UPSET HAHAHAHA
we all are, take you mind of it friend nd think of all the good things to come...like this hellish cult being blown out of the sky
Any time any Narrator says "you should turn away now," I take it as a point of policy to look harder, no matter how distasteful. You miss fewer things that way.
Wow, getting busy with the same woman who left you tortured and traumatised? Me too, Weepe, me too...
Midst has always had a horror element to it...but you guys have gone too far this time!
Imelda saw Weep and all his red flags and thought "I can fix him." But, I feel like Imelda is also a walking red flag tbh.
“I can fix him… by making him worse.”
@@arolurker3511 Exactly!
This episode puts new meaning into S1E5 ... "He's totally f**d"
😂😂😂😂😂😂
HAHAHA, you paid for the ticket, you take the ride! I guess Imelda had her own fold experience!
this is the most horrifying episode we've had thus far
The mental image instilled in me shutters with wretched horror.
Why so disturbed by Saskia's name, huh? What's there that we don't know yet?
Saskia became one of my favorite characters, hope she gets to repay his "kindness" in the near future.
She did snag his briefcase right when he betrayed the Black Candle and made a point of throwing it at him. Maybe he is thinking about how she could have probably killed him in that moment by destroying it. She's my favorite character(s), I hope Saskia (and Saskia) make it through this ok.
@@4dragons632im absolutely willing to bet that one saskia dies. theres no way they set up a two bodies situation without one of them dying and the other having to feel what that's like
@@haileyredrix3102 maybe that's what ends up breaking Weepe. Witnessing Saskia's "death" 👀
@@VI_VA. OH SHIT YEA WEEPE DOSENT KNOW ABOUT SASKIASASKIA
I laughed so hard at how the narrators were each reacting to the scene hahaha
His stomach! HIS STOMACH! these artists are sick, and genius
Can't wait for Darrington Press to release Jod! Entire minutes of fun stretched across multiple hours, count me in!
My two favorite characters, sincerely wish them all the prosperity, every interaction is beyond entertaining.
P.S. Come on, if you weren't shipping Dolores Umbridge and Lord Voldemort, what are you even here for
I have shared this with the Midst discord server because more people need to see this amazing comment. Amazing
I personally didn't really need the mental imagery
Touché
I think we all knew about that tension from the moment Imelda landed on Weepe's arm
I shipped Delores Umbridge and Rita Skeeter, which is just as messy. I wonder how that translates.
Description: "Things are finally coming together."
Me: Finally, some new cool reveals!
Episode: ...
Me: Well, technically they didn't lie...
🤣🤣🤢
Omg what did we walk into fam and I honestly think he was being honest. I am surprised by the Saskia reaction he was hurt and pissed. He was annoyed she spoke her good name.
I want to remind ppl he enjoyed singing with Saskia which he did despite himself. It says alot.
Best smut since Tusk Love 😅
The Foley in this episode is great, just wanted to say that
SO MANY FEELINGS during this episode. Between cringe, discomfort, and genuine laughter. I LOVE MIDST!
We will never hear the tripotentiary without thinking of this event....its a kink for him 😢😢😢 12:44
Oh boy CZcams community, as someone who watched this on the early release, good luck with this one 👀 you’re in for a doozy
I just need you guys to know, that i was listening to this two weeks ago while i was walking my dog, and durning THAT part i stopped in the middle of the street with a VERY wierd expression on my face, staring in the distance, while my dog was looking at me with the utmost concern.
I would be extremely happy for Imelda if she weren't evil. I love the detail that the trust was going to comply exactly as Kosma predicted, and it was Weepe doing his own thing taking her out. I wonder how that is going to affect things going forwards. I feel like if you were already attracted to someone seeing their skin be translucent would be kinda hot, but also nope nope nope nope nope.
We knew it was gonna happen.
But that does not mean we wanted it. Keep up the amazing work.
Edit:
The Upset + “You payed the ticket, you ride the ride” are amazing
Knew it was gonna happen??? In what event does it look there was any sexual tension between them?????
@@allww1 Mock Weep was MADE by her, she was so fixated on him, so with him changing it felt like it was something I was afraid was coming. I guess you could say that it was the only thing that was coming this episode.
@@icepear8771 okay but that explains her i guess....but for him...there should be not but death for her. He even said so when the things accured. And ahhhhhhhhhhhh the pun...
@@allww1 That is a good point. It seems like he was not really that interested? I think that we will figure out what is happening with these two more in the future
"hand cracked penalty siren"- love these little details
There are so many delightful horror elements to this podcast I've enjoyed. But this episode is the first that made me shriek out loud.
About damn time tho.
And now I'm stuck imagining the color of the after effects. Like what shade of grey are we looking at here.
OMG...there are SOME visuals we didn't need. LOL!
This one episode made the presentation style of this entire series worthwhile. Oh, I really lolled when... you know.
Love how upset even the Narrators were at this
Cue Michael Scott from the office:
"No, God! Please No! No! No! Nooooo!"
Not since _Star Trek: Deep Space 9_ have I been made so viscerally uncomfortable by two characters kissing.
😂😂😂 oh wow gotta go rewatch that episode now!!
Perfect reference! DS9 forever!
Got some real Wynn/Dukat vibes in this relationship lmao
Also, Jod sounds very much like a Ferengi board game. Like a more proper and dignified form of Tongo
Allamaraine! Count to 10.
The description for this episode is a true work of art.
I am confused physically, emotionally, menthally and maybe even spiritually... i love this!
Two things happened that surprised me, and one was Weepe's reaction to Saskia being mentioned.
As someone who is pretty disabled Weepe having freaky IV-connected... fun times... is great rep honestly, doesn't happen a lot. As a human being who has listened to this podcast i hope to never again learn anything about either Imelda's or Weepe's personal lives in perpetuity until the heat death of the universe, please and thank you
Called it at season fucking one baby.
Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
From what???? This out no where!
Same!!!
what a lovely and caring encounter that was. So heavenly for the both of them, and the way it was described made it sound like pure bliss.
Imelda is a good example that "nice" =/= good... This whole relationship feels like two sociopaths except one actually found some kind of peace in a little place called Midst... Who knows how long that peace would've lasted but I guess he's getting a taste of his own medicine...
The most exciting episode of midst so far
Well this episode was... something 😂
I was nervous that somethubg bad was going to happen but at same time with the two of them alone together and the Narrators saying tha "mother qnd father of the Trust" I was like Wait-
11:20sh.....oh... OH.... Oh no no no no
Now this is content! Love the horror it has put in others. 10/10
Not since the episode of futurama "Nothing in here but a pair of elephant skin rugs..."
Luckily no one was around when I watched this episode as I was shrieking and squealing 😭 Thank you, Midst, for always surprising me ! 💀
OK, I was laughing on the “sex scene that happened.“. Did not know that he had it in him and also Imelda showing off… of sorts.
But this is a very good episode that temporarily humanizes moc weep. We still know he’s a bad guy, and he has his own ambitions, but also we know he does still have human tendencies…
Im really glad i dont share an office space with anyone right now. The loud "OH GOSH" would have been uncomfortable to explain
Y'all making me feel emotions
I do really wonder about Weepe right now. How much of what happened and was talked about in this episode is him actually liking Imelda and working with her...or him using her to get rid of her later.
i love midst. i love midst!
Finally! They’ve been teasing this for way too long!🎉🎉❤❤😳😳🥵🥵
I screamed, good job guys!
Well that went to an unexpacted direction.
Episode summed up in one sentence: Weep finds out Imelda didn’t pray today
I guess it's just his blood that's crawling black goop, but I would think Imelda would have insisted on using some seriously heavy-duty protection!
I love missing episode of Midst, as I love a good game of Jod!
Well, I was not expecting THAT.
"Things are finally coming together." YEAH, I GUESS THEY ARE!
Calling it now: Saskia is his daughter. That's why his mood was killed too. I don't wanna talk about my daughter with her new stepmother in bed either.
Also, that was either great writing for the not-fading-to-black "romance" scene or great improv on their part. I like to think it's the latter and the artist had to keep adding things because they dragged it out longer than Weepe's- *ahem* yeah.
Saskia and weepe are both in their forties.
Wait. Did Imelda blow up the moon? I think Imelda may have been involved with blowing up the moon.
If i remember, in the previous episodes Kozma revealed that she was the one who orchestrated the blowing up
But! Perhaps Imelda was in on it? What if she, too, is secretly part of the Breach
That night be,,,interesting, but that does bring her motivations into question, especially from her actions on Midst
@@anantkerur557 Kosma claimed credit, but even her guards were suprised when she said so. If I had to put money on anyone I'd put it on Moc Weepe blowing up the moon.
@@4dragons632 I don't think he would have been on Midst when it happened. Doesn't fit his character. Imelda, on the other hand is clearly a mad fanatic. Nothing is too extreme for that kind of mind. Whoever did it, I think they were involved with the kidnapping that started off the whole story.
@@4dragons632 Oh correct! Well in any case, now we know who did it
I'm laughing, crying, throwing up...haha.
No it's fine...I didn't want to sleep ever again. Thanks
I had a really good time despite being horrified! This was fun, funny, uncomfortable, disgusting and amusing. Will he kill her? Maybe!
Grimacing my may through the episode
Hands on my head in agony
Didn't see that coming.
Yeah, they time skipped, so you in fact didn’t see it coming.
@@skwittles778 lol
Well she certainly did, you know, because of the whole... see through thing...
@@RevanZim Imelda really is seriously fucked up if she actually finds that hot.
HAH I KNEW THEY'D DO IT EVENTUALLY
The only time in my life i regret having such an active imagination.
11:00 oh my god you guys 😂😂 this is too funny!
I can't unsee this ..
Did the characters suddenly had mind of their own and broke the narrative of the narrators? Lmao!
I was not expecting that
Truly interesting
Weepe looks extra untrustworthy these days
*leans over* Oh man… goona vom…
I have never heard of a game, been super interested when the pieces/board are talked about, and then completely turned off by someone explaining a small aspect of it in such a short span of time 🙃

😳 yeah that's not gonna wash out (the mental image of ...)
This was a very surprising episode 😅
So did this episode make anyone else curious about Fold also... *ahem* comes out of Weepe's... ah, you know his, um...Well SOMEBODY had to ask!
It's unlikely because it left Imelda (sadly) unscathed. Maybe we'll get a mention of some strange Fold-based uterine cancer later, though.
Oh my goooooood 💀
Goodness me there sure were a lot of things that ended up on the floor. And that's it! Nothing else of note happens!
still a better love story than Twilight
From the moment we met Imelda I have always pictured her a Professor Umbridge from Harry Potter, both physically and as a baseline for the expectations of her personality. So far, nothing has shaken that image. Weepe on the other hand does not strike me as a Voldemort in spite of the physical similarities, however he does strike me as the irredeemable "neutral evil" that will ultimately end everything, likely through some level of self destruction that takes the Trust with him. Personally, I'm hoping he transforms into some sort of Kaiju in a fold-related disaster and just wrecks everything. In a sense, he gets his redemption by becoming one of the mindless fold-terrors, losing the guilty part of Weepe. I don't see a path forward that ends with him getting a "happily ever after," not sure anyone would want it if he did.
Oh my!
I have been afraid that this day would happen from the start *screams into the fold*
Incredibly hot episode. Imelda understands what real sex appeal is🥵
see through moc coc... and im the one that didnt make it up
why did i start listening to this episode while eating..?
Oh my 🎉
Out of all the gross and fucked up things that’s happened in Midst, this is the worst one
Fun starts at 11:08
"Fun"??? 😂
This is where the fun begins
During the necklace part I was thinking if this was turned into a movie, their relationship would be oddly sexual for pizazz or something... But nopeeeeee it's actually trueee agWRLGvkSJVGLESJFEIO
Just wanted to point that Weep gave Imelda a pearl necklace.
11:03
Me and my boyfriend at the edge of our seats: “is he gonna kill her?!?”
….
Oh….
OH MY GOD!!!
THE WAY IVE SQUEALED!!!
