One thing i always get from him during interviews about roster, players, etc., is that chemistry is key to the team and i could not agree more. Now we just need to get some grit about us, dont get PUNKED by the Phillies or anyone. We need an edge about us.
Just going to patiently wait here until the season starts and he somehow swings a deal to get Jesse Chavez back because that is the nature of things

Does anyone think that the braves will be compatible team for 2024?As a braves I don't think so. Having Morton, Sale and Elder. All of them are question marks .
Reynaldo Lopez and Sale will be good I believe. Dont know about Elder. Morton is there for the veteran presence and durability.
There's no team in the league that doesn't have question marks. Even the Dodgers have a few. And keep in mind for the playoffs, you really only need 3 starters. If one or even two of the 5 starters suck, just leave them off the roster or put them in the bullpen.
Exactly... the starting eight are probably as good as it gets, then you get to the pitching staff. Beyond Strider and Fried (who could be realistically gone after this season), what have we got here? Two old retreads (Morton & Sale) who can't stay consistently on the field, and a bunch of 'potential'. Morton has been done since he broke his leg during the '21 championship season, and Sale who has yet to prove he can stay healthy for a whole season. The starting pitching has been a revolving door of arms. I'm personally being as realistic as I possibly can. All this "AA" back slapping is a joke...
If you think about it, he did nothing but catch "lightning in a bottle" when they won it all in '21... since then, what have they done in the playoffs? Pissed down their collective legs, and folded up like a f'n lawn chair. It's actually stunning. C'mon... the bullpen is sketchy too. IF they do anything, I will really be pleasantly surprised, and give credit where credit is honestly due. All sports are about "what have you done for me lately", and therein lies the truth... let's see what happens before glad-handing anyone...
They're a class organization, yes, but they are far from being infallible...
