      Because Cuba was under sanctions for so long and couldn't import modern cars, they have more functioning "classic" cars per capita than any other country in the world.

    Finally, some stuff from Cuba! It seems a lot of their vehicles are pretty old, but I guess they don't need a big flashy Chevy Suburban lol

    I'm extremely disappointed that the police cars aren't all 1959 Chrysler Windsors like in Driver 2.

      @@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses I have yet to hear Cuban Police siren, Seems I can only find videos of them with their blue light on but not running sirens. As for the lights, I DID find a pic of a Lada 2107 with a U.S. Code3 MX7000 on it but it was rare, Most do just have a single gumball like MSP use.

      I guess it's like trying to find the siren for soviet police cars. Bloody difficult

    • @PolizeiPaul
      @PolizeiPaul Před 4 lety +1

      @@supertrinigamer Actually that is EASY, The Soviet Militia (Police) used D.D.R. Martin Horn (1960's-1970's) Tesla AZD 501 (1980's)

    • @supertrinigamer
      @supertrinigamer Před 4 lety +1

      AZD 501 was only used in czechoslovakia wasn't it? I thought it was the SGU-60 which was used in the soviet union. Mid 70's the fire engines in the soviet union started using the SGU 60 as well, whereas before they only had something called an "Exhaust whistle" Which was like a train horn but using exhaust gas, and used as a siren. If possible, could you find me a clean loop of the tesla AZD 501 and SGU 60? I'd appreciate it so much considering I can only find videos with background noise.

    Never seen one of the blue thing on top of the cars being on. I’m not even sure it’s a light! No electrical cable apparent either.

    • @TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses
      @TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses  Před 3 lety +1

      They do work. Most of them are pretty effective blue lights actually. I wasn’t able to capture it on video while I was in Cuba, but I did see it.

    • @althepal6818
      @althepal6818 Před 3 lety +2

      Well thank. You are actually right. Just saw it on a video. But, having been in Cuba many times, never saw one in action! I don’t know if it’s because they are broken or they want to save on gasoline but they don’t lite them as police normally do!

    • @TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses
      @TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses  Před 3 lety +3

      @@althepal6818 I think it’s mostly because the police want to keep a relatively low profile. You will see them patrol often, but sometimes in countries like Cuba the authorities do not want to make it seem like there is a lot of crime/ incidents, so they keep the emergency lights off unless there’s a real need to have them on.
      Similar in China and Vietnam for example. They do have their lights on there, but you will almost never hear them use the siren as that would “raise too much unnecessary attention” and give the impression that something bad is going on (which the state wants to avoid).
