Amazing , well played
perfect dot and cut , birl , embellishment and timing . So soothing to my ear .
Thank you for great video .
I admire your style and the way you play! Your videos (practise chanter ones and GHPs) are of so much help for my piping efforts. Thanks a lot agai, Neil ! Warm regards from Cologne
Thanks Karl, appreciated. Glad you can use the vids
I was in the Carrigaline Pipe Band for a short time as a lad, the first tune i learned to play was Donald Dhu. I never got past the chanter, I still play that great pibroch, seventy five years. On various instruments. Regrettably I never got back to playing The War pipes. Altho I do play it on The Feadog. I love this set, and this players great playlng. Thank you.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I love your skill....but your perfection is the Drone's sound
I am grateful for your skill and its subsequent translation into how wonderful listening to this made me feel. Most sincere thanks. Cheers.
Bringing back fond memories with that set ,thank you
Top notch, fine tuning and balance, very nice swing these are very fine pipes very finely played, Neil
Cheers !
You well deserve it, Neil
All the best tae ye, fella
wonderfully executed tunes. Congrats!
I just uploaded this tune myself. You're version has given me something to aspire to Neil.
Who in the world gives a thumbs down to this performance? Weird...
Anyways...great job!
4 years into it and playing with the band the last two. I still love this set you play. The harmonics in that room you recorded must have been great. I’m one of Eric Albert’s students. I listen to this video regularly. Bravo again!
Stick with it ,you will only get better
This is great Neil. I look forward to learning this with you.
Beautiful melody!

Neil, sorry I just now saw the request for donations to Parkinson's UK after watching probably 50 of your videos. I don't normally read the descriptions to videos so never noticed it before. $1 request happily honored.
Luke, thats very generous of you. Thanks very much indeed.
Lovely!
Thanks very much
...and I picked up the sheet music of Farewell ;) I think I will learn it :)
I've learned so much from your style of playing and videos. I play your bagpipe tunes all the time on my blue tooth just to hear you play. I'm a year into my playing and I've done a little competition with a 4/4 march. Muir of Orde. I restarted, but was happy with what I did for the first time. I'm trying to set aside money to get some skype lessons in with you once I've broken in my new reeds. I blew out my first one now I'm breaking in two new ones for my band and competition chanter. I have a set of Colin Kyo Highlands that are lovely, perhaps someday I can do them justice. Thanks again!
Thanks very much, be great to have you on board. Glad the vids are of use.
Nice
Does anyone know where I can find the music for piobaireachd of donald dubh?
Man, that was rare.
I'll follow you into battle any day. Just let me know when you want to go
is at nae campbelltown loch ?? fine piping my man
Whoa! What drones/reeds are you using? That is a great drone sound.
Thanks. Thats a couple of years ago, Same drones now, RG Hardie Peter Henderson, Canning tenors and a kinnaird Bass.
3:14 👌👌
You are singing about Glendaruel. I heard years ago a track "sweet aid of Glendaruel" Canyou comparto with us on you tube this track? I've gratefull for this opportunity. Thanks
Hi Paolo. Sweet Maid is on this channel, just have a search for it and it should pop up for you
Pokemon Ranger Pipe Band Aka Le Bagad de Pokemon Ranger!
What brand of chanter reed are you using? I like the timbre of it.
Thanks. This is going back a bit now, but I think it would either have been a reed by Andrew Frater, or possibly Donald Macphee
@@NeilClark-FalkirkPiping Thank you, sir!
@@NeilClark-FalkirkPiping What are your thoughts on the Clanyre synthetic reeds for chanter?
The making of Pokémon Ranger Pipe Band Aka Le Bagad de Pokémon Ranger created in 2022!
Pokémon Center and Universal Studios Japan salutes Pokémon Ranger Pipe Band Aka Le Bagad de Pokémon Ranger!
Hi, got a question; was the farewell to the Creeks referring to the Creek Indians in north America? Or to the creeks and licks in the home country? Thanks
It refers to an area in Aberdeenshire.
Are you using any ear protection ?
Honestly, no. I should be though, and I'd recommend everyone else does
Well done! Could you give me some information about your instrument? (maker, price...) Thank you so much.
Hi, These are Peter Hendersons by RG Hardie in Glasgow. I think the chanter at that time would have been by Brian Donaldson, the tenor reeds by Canning, and I'm not sure of the rest. Bannatyne Hide/Hybrid I would think. Not sure what the price would be for those.
@@NeilClark-FalkirkPipingGreat instrument. Thank you so much and good music!
@@NeilClark-FalkirkPiping thanks a bunch really helping me with my military piping cheers loon aye
nice four on donald
Thanks
Is Glendaruel Highlanders an 'actual tune' or is it based on a song?
It's a tune. The song, Campbelltown Loch, was composed later. Like Scottish Soldier and Green Hill of Tyrol I suppose
+Neil Clark very good thanks for reply and thanks for all your videos.
welcome, cheers!
nicely down
Do you offer lessons?
Hi, yes I do. I teach Sundays to Wednesdays. Contact me through www.falkirkpiping.com if you wish?
Actually This is Atholl Highlanders. And I'm not even Scottish!! 😁😁
No it’s not. There are recordings on the channel if you wish to check.
The song sing race you to the German line
Superboy I’m not reallly sure what you mean there
Neil Clark - Falkirk Piping I was drunk mate I meant charging towards the German front lines during the war I don’t know what was going on in my head the pipes send me wild haha
