Raya, I feel your struggle. I am a similar personality type and whenever I don't get things done the way I expected, I feel worthless. You are worth so much more than your productivity. Having said that, you ARE productive. You have the right to focus your energy on other things than work. What you have created in such a short amount of time is amazing. I think that 'settling in' and going through the series of changes such as moving to a different room, house, location with new people etc. is so transformative and important in one's life that it leaves me, as your viewer, feeling even more connected to you and also makes me excited for you! It feels like I get to witness something more exciting and adventurous than traveling etc. I also moved to a different country during the pandemics and there's still plenty of stuff for me to work out, so I get inspired by watching your vlogs :) Thanks and hopefully you'll find new passions and goals while living in your new home.

I am glad I started watching you and Louis again. It's hard being unemployed and job searching in NYC during this pandemic. I have also recently moved to a dream neighborhood that I love (privileged to have saved and balanced financials to afford it). It's hard finding my worth without work. I miss it often. But since being in a new room (after living in a tiny room for two years) I have started focusing on making things. I'm back into making art (which I haven't done consistently for 4+ years. So when people ask me if I'm working, I say yes, I am working on myself.

Raya, this is so exciting! I can't believe you have a fireplace in your bedroom. I just imagine being snuggled up by the fire while watching a good film. I'm also super jealous that you're right next to the beach! I think you're doing a great job of surrounding yourself with beneficial elements that can contribute to your happiness. Especially, having friends that will listen, understand, and try to help with how you're feeling or how to deal with overwhelming issues. I hope this continues for you

I don't know if Louis has done something on his channel, but could you make a video about your community, how it came to be and how do you handle living with so many people and having your own time and space? Just a suggestion because it really seems very interesting and I think I've never seen this kind of lifestyle... ever! Loved the video 💕

Raya, it might help if you expand your definition of “productive”! When work responsibilities pile up and deadlines are looming, it is easy to get trapped in thinking only work issues can equal “productive”. If you go back and really watch everything you did on camera and remember everything you did off camera to make this move possible and settle into your new home, I’m sure you will see the productivity!
It’s okay to be proud of all you accomplished because your house-moving productivity was off the charts! Now you can prioritize your work commitments and start ticking them off. But even if you need a relax, refresh and recharge day to be your best self, that, too is productive and will help you meet your goals! If you look up the meaning to the word ‘worthless’, you couldn’t be further from it! Please be kinder and more respectful to yourself! I doubt you would treat a friend as harshly as you are treating yourself. That sort of negative self-talk is so damaging! Be nice to you! 🥰

Hi Raya! Thank you for sharing and openly expressing how you feel as I am sure there are a ton of people who watch your videos that can relate. But I gotta ask, who exactly your are comparing yourself to in order to feel like you are not doing enough? Oprah? Because from this side it looks like you are living a dream and you do so much! I almost feel like I’m not doing enough compared to you and I think we are about the same age. I really hope you would stop being so hard on yourself; I know that’s easier said than done and I do not know your situation but I know if you compare yourself to others you are going to self sabotage. This is great. I just wish there would be more diversity in the people living there. To some extent it seems like they all come from a similar point of life.
There’s actually a lot of diversity in where we’re all from and our backgrounds, especially in our religions and spiritual beliefs. I‘ve learned sooo much about different religions and opened my mind and heart up more than ever before through living with some of these people the last two years. And in terms of racial diversity, that has truly been a priority for us since before we moved in and we originally reached out to so many different people and this is just everyone who happened to work out to be able to move in. There’s still some people moving out and new ones moving in over the next few months so I hope we can call that in but again, it all depends on when people are available to move in etc ❤️
The meaning of life is just to LIVE. Stop pressuring yourself to keep doing. Practice meditation daily, you’ll find your way.
Just WOW. This is really co-creating at it's best. Allowing, manifesting, aligning. This is what law of attraction brings together when you are just vibing and sharing your love and light and kindness with the world. Raya you were an example for me and now even more. What a brilliant group of people together. I so feel that love. I also feel I'm going to meet you some day when we can travel again.
