Cody Johnson is a badass. I seen him in a small venue when he just released With You I Am. Before he went into mainstream. He always puts on a great show.
Same here, he went out to a local bar after his show too and I got the chance to talk with him, great dude. One of the realest “celebrities” I’ve ever met, although idk if I would have called him a celebrity back then
So I've watched this video over and over and it finally hit me like a box of rocks to the head ...it starts out like you are gonna lose your elders do stuff with them till you can't ......but this turned table and the young man lost his life in this video and he lost the time with them 💔 Quit a sad twist that the younger generation isn't guaranteed time either whooo whooo great reaction
This song hits harder for me now since my mom is in the hospital in ICU in critical condition she has pancreatitis and her kidneys are shunting down she is 63 years old ,we are taking it day by day the doctors told my sister they have done everything medical to save her.
This is my favourite Cody Johnson song. He has a couple others that are also amazing specifically "Dear Rodeo" and "Long Live Cowgirls" which sings with Ian Munsick. Keep doing your thing guys. Enjoying the content.
One of my favorite country songs ever! I never would have met my friend and apartment manager Tim Taylor if I had not moved here. He loved that song & so do I! Tim passed away last January! We miss him! Cheers to Tim & his family! Thank you Keith & Dustin for reacting to this song! #TillYouCant #CodyJohnson
I've been waiting a long time for y'all to do a Cody Jonson song. He's such a great guy and sings some really great songs. I got to see him live in May and it was a highlight of the year for me! Another song of his that you should check out is Dimond in my Pocket.
I have not heard that before, but it is one of the best I have heard in a while. WOW. What a voice and the message is one we can't hear enough. I agree about the what you didn't do regrets being the ones that will haunt you. I read once where a hospice worker said that was the case - that people would talk to her about what they wish they had done or how they wished they had put family above work. Great job as always.
I love his version of Whoever’s In New England (cover of a Reba song), and I also love another of his songs called “Never Go Home Again” which tells the story of an outlaw, making the only life he knows how to and knowing he can never return to the life he had or the people he knew because they’d never accept him again. It’s a really nice song that I discovered by accident cause I was making a playlist. He also has a pretty good song with Reba called “Dear Rodeo” which is written like a love letter to rodeos, because he used to be a bull rider. Reba also used to be a barrel racer, so they made a song together about it.
Dear Rodeo and Long Live Cowgirls with Ian Munsick are two great ones. Also, On My Way To You, With You I Am, and Human. Whenever you can you should react to his acoustic performances. He. Is. Amazing!! ♥️
It took me watching a different reaction video to learn that the young man dies, NOT the older folks. He dies with the regrets of NOT fishing, fixing the car and calling his mom.
Great reaction to a meaningful lyric. The music was just the background. I learned "til you can't" message early and thankfully live by those lessons. Since I leave very little unsaid, I savor memories but have few regrets of what I should have done.
You guys should really react to Hardy's (wait in the truck) and since you guys love rock also his song (Sold out) he mixes country and metal in that one. You haven't done any hardy yet but you have reacted to a few of the songs he has written.
Om, guys you will lose your sh!t, listening to "LP", " LOST ON YOU"...LIVE....the vocals, instrumentals, she is in a class all of her own, also she's the child of 2 opera singers, and yet you get this blues vs? Vibe...its unreal...ps im new BUT I am sharing these tomy facebook!, and to my instgram!!!!!!...I will guarantee you will lose you sh!t!!!!!
This was a first for me. Never heard this guy til today. This is the sort of song that makes you think especially if your parents have both been called home. Isn't Chugzz made in the Segriums distillery? Maybe I'm getting it mixed up with something else. I'll send ya some Twix...No one buys them here but they stock them. Dollar store across the road is stocked full of every kind of candy with the exception of my watermelon gummybears. 🤬🤣 anyway. Great reaction to both
Cody is bringing old school country back and stands up for what he believes. Love his songs and his voice.
2:46 "ah, shit" when he realized what kind of song this is 😂😂. Love it
Cody has such an authentic voice. This is one of the best songs out there right now. GREAT REACTION!

Cody is real country music. Check out his rant on country music, it was a couple years ago when Old Town road came out. Alot respect for this man

he wrote this song after being on a flight that had engine issues and he thought it was the end....love this song!!!

I was about to suggest these same two songs. Love CoJo and Ian’s a perfect compliment. ♥️
My dad passed away right before Thanksgiving of 2021. This song hits me hard every time
Love Cody! His music was played on red dirt Texas radio stations for quite a while before he hit mainstream. Love his voice and his old school values
life is short - live and love it!

The sad part of this video is in the end it was the son that died. Always take time for your loved ones.

I really love you guys. Keith you are so right!

Great job as always.
His version of Traveling Soldier is much better than the original by The Dixie Chicks, in my opinion of course.
Travelin’ Soldier is originally by Bruce Robison.
I saw Cody Johnson in concert a couple weeks in concert. He puts on an amazing show. And he is an amazing artist

Sometimes it isn’t regret about what you did or didn’t do. It’s regret and sadness that you no longer can. Good content today fellas.
Dear Rodeo and Long Live Cowgirls with Ian Munsick are two great ones. Also, On My Way To You, With You I Am, and Human. Whenever you can you should react to his acoustic performances. He. Is. Amazing!! ♥️
Cody’s live performance of “Dear Rodeo” will blow y’all away!
Awesome song, great reaction. As usual. 🔥🔥🔥
CoJo is the real deal, he’s amazing ❤️
Oh I’d give anything to hug, talk or touch my Momma again; lost her I 2021 unexpectedly 🙏❤️
You may have noticed, I felt this one too remembering some I’ve lost unexpectedly recently. Very powerful tune for that, and my condolences -Dustin
It took me watching a different reaction video to learn that the young man dies, NOT the older folks. He dies with the regrets of NOT fishing, fixing the car and calling his mom.
“Dear rodeo” is my favorite from him, highly suggest. Either version; him or him and Reba
Great reaction to a meaningful lyric. The music was just the background. I learned "til you can't" message early and thankfully live by those lessons. Since I leave very little unsaid, I savor memories but have few regrets of what I should have done.
Good one, Jami!
he sounds just as good live.
That was the Twix ban I put on you Dustin lol
Today is my 43rd birthday day.
Love his voice!! He has some great music!
I love the version of his song Dear Rodeo that he did with Reba
Great reaction, I hadn't heard of him previously and I liked that a lot.
Is this the first song y’all haven’t stopped the song at least once - y’all must’ve been into it :)
love this song

He is saying take the nows and dont take life for granted

Human is another good one from Cody.
This was a first for me. Never heard this guy til today. This is the sort of song that makes you think especially if your parents have both been called home.

Great reaction to both
COJO is amazing! Check out his collab with ZAC BROWN BAND called Wild Palomino
Just watched one of your videos where the Harmonica was discussed. Have you listened to HomeFree? If not please do. Man of Constant sorrow is a must.
Miranda Lamberts live version of tin man is one I’m sure everyone could relate to at one point in their life.
Ps, LP, ALSO DOES A MEAN MUDDY WATERS
Check out anything by Cody Johnson. He's the next Geoege Strait..
I feel this song strongly. My mother passed unexpectedly in /0
Sorry for your loss. - Keith
Good true words stuff to me too
Like me you love guitar , you need to listen to jaime dupuis and his 18 string guitar play the sound of silence. It's all instrumental.
What is barrel proof, what is single barrel and whats the diference
new stuff to me too
Have you reacted to Tim McGraw, "Live Like You Were Dying"? That song goes with what you guys were saying.
