Hey Todd,I began buying spawn comics in 1992,along with other image titles. When I saw spawn figures,I was recovering from a major car accident. I no longer have the comics,but I still have many of the toys. Many thanks to you and the other founders of IMAGE who helped me through many dark days. From Vermont to you.
I still remember the 90s, and the massive changes you brought. Before you, toy details were soft and rounded with minimal paint. Then in the blink of an eye we had crisp sharp details with exceptional paint. Just look at the POTF 2 figures with soft rounded details, then the Episode 1 and POTJ figures with much better sculpt and paint. YOU FORCED THAT. You forced the industry to make a better effort at toy sculpting and paint. Since then, it's been an awesome 30 years of collecting, so cheers and congrats on the milestone!

I only get digital copies of McFarlane toys now. No more buying them at stores, I just take a picture and add it to my "collection". 😂

I always thought Todd's first design for spawn was cool . I would love to see Todd bring that version to the comics . I don't think it's amateurish . me personally I think it looks cool . It's spawns first appearance outfit in a way or a concept design
To me, it feels kind of 'old school'; Silver-age stuff.

I really like the new articulated versions of these spawn toys, It would be cool to see more like the Viking age stuff in stores again. I hope that they stay somewhat affordable because that’s the whole reason I have a cool modern McFarlane collection.

Oh my gosh, dude, I totally think this original concept art 🎨 design of Spawn is way better then the look we usually see. I think Todd McFarlane should really consider changing the look to this original concept art version. Though 😎 the red color and glowing green eyes can stay.

I just saw a description of a YT video and in it said: "New Spawn movie" 😮
FIIINALLY!! I loved that first movie as a kid but always (ofc 😁) wanted more cool action in it. And with todays capabilities I often find myself thinking about how a Spawn movie could look and it literally makes me go 🤤🤤🤤🤤
Growing up in a pretty broke place we would always flock around that person who owned a Spawn issue, everyone wanted one!
The pages made of that more shiny photographic paper (or what you'd call it), the artwork, the details, the crispiness AND the coolest MF'ng cape ever drawn! Damn I've always loved that cape 🤤.
But, could never afford one.
Aaand unfortunately could never steal one either (sorry Todd 😬..) because the comic book store where I grew up would always have Spawn issues close to the counter due to the price.
Which ofc is totally understandable when a bunch of meddlesome fingered 12-13 year olds where running around in there, and occasionally borrowed a copy or two of X-men under the shirt, on indefinite time 🙄.
Spawn was one of the characters that defined my childhood ❤️

Todd McFarlane you done a good job with making Kilowog and Kyle Rayner. I've been waiting for that. I'm not a Spawn fan. Although there's a lot of people that is. But the DC MULTIVERSE action figures is what I'm a big fan of. But I hope you will make these DC MULTIVERSE action figures. I hope will make Arkillo to match up against Kilowog. Grail the daughter of Darkseid, I really really hope you make her real bad, because I think she'll make a great awesome DC MULTIVERSE action figure. Also Soranik Natu the daughter of Sinestro to be a member of the Sinestro Corps. Scarecrow to be a member of the Sinestro Corps. Or Superman to be a member of the Sinestro Corps. A better looking Parallax from the videos. Grayven and Orion the sons of Darkseid. And hopefully they'll be as big as Kalibak. I would like to see the Cheetah and Giganta, but Giganta being 12 inches tall. Apache Chief being 12 inches tall. The 1978 version of the Toyman. Now I know that's a lot of DC MULTIVERSE action figures, but I really would enjoy seeing these come to pass.
