    My crack theory postulates a third option, that neither resides in celestia and it is instead an automated locations thats following last commands, including repairing the world. The second who came was thrown into the chasm and is sealed in the crystal calling himself "the sinner" (though not without some power to influence others). The primodial one used an excessive amount of power to remove the second who came and is now reduced to a little entity known as paimon without memories of her glory or powers. Instinctively she clings to the traveller somehow knowing they're related in some way. (yes it IS out there that theory)

    The Second possibility feels like a better explanation to me..

    Wall of text but bear with me, I really think I am on to something regarding this topic.
    I have been doing a lot of research ever since the Final Feast trailer came out. Primarily what sparked my interest was when Egeria says: "The original sin is the fairest: everyone sinks." We've seen many references to ancient sunken civilizations throughout the lore, most notably the story of Enkanomiya. If all of these ancient underground civilizations have 'original sin' in common, that begs the question, what IS the 'original sin' in Genshin?
    In the Bible, the 'original sin' was when Adam & Eve were seduced by the temptation of a serpent to eat from the Tree of Knowledge even though God told them not to. There are many parallels between the story of the Garden of Eden and the creation of Teyvat. After conquering the original dragon sovereigns, The Primordial One shaped the Earth as a perfect environment for humanity, much like God created the Earth/Garden of Eden for humans in the Bible. We know that the Second Who Came was present on the Earth for a period of time before the war broke out with the Primordial One- it was not immediate. If we are following the story of the Bible, The Second Who Came could be an allegory for the one who seduced the humans to eat fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. In the Bible, this is considered the "original sin" because what was done could not be undone; by the nature of human reproduction, each human from that point forward would inherit the sin. Perhaps this is what motivated the war between the Primordial One and the Second Who Came- the Second Who Came permanently tainted the Primordial One's most beloved creation.
    Due to committing the original sin, humans will inevitably always be aware of their mortality, question "the meaning of life", and seek knowledge about the true workings of the world they inhabit. I think this is what is meant whenever we hear about the "cyclical nature" of Teyvat- humans seek knowledge of the world, and once they find out, they get nuked and sealed off by Celestia. Then the world begins anew, rinse, lather, repeat. In Genshin, I think The Abyss represents the final stage; once humans find out what lies beyond the boundaries of their world, they gain God-defying abilities they were never meant to have. This obviously makes the Gods afraid, so they press the delete button before things get out of hand. This could also kind of explain why our sibling has information in Irminsul, but not us. The sibling has been through one loop- they got to the Abyss. We are on the same journey to seek knowledge of the divine, and will inevitably reach the same end.
    Think of the Tsaritsa and the Fatui. We know their ultimate goal is to overthrow the Gods, but why? How could they convince the Archons to give up their Gnoses so easily? We know that both the Fatui and the Archons live in fear of Celestia- it's how Nahida was able to make deals with Dottore, so perhaps it goes both ways? The Archons know from experience that the humans will get nuked once they inevitably reach a certain point, and perhaps they know that time is coming soon: "Make the most of the final feast, because for the sinners, the curtain call has come." None of the Archons we've seen WANT to be Archons any more. Venti is a drunk absentee, Zhongli faked his death, and Raiden only ruled the way she did out of fear of Celestia. From what we've seen of Focalors, she seems to be similar to Raiden in that she also rules out of fear. (My theory however is that while Raiden loved Inazuma and her people, and used her power to enforce the Heavenly Principles at their expense, Focalors only cares about herself. She doesn't try to interfere with her peoples' technological advancements because it is the nature of humanity. As a matter of fact, she finds this entertaining and chooses to indulge in the splendor of it all. She is pure in the eyes of the Gods and will live on regardless). Nahida is a bit of an exception, but she is a brand new incarnation and is still figuring things out for herself so I don't think she really counts. Either way, I think both the Fatui and the Archons are coming to an agreement that the era of humanity has come and it's time to overthrow Celestia once and for all. From A Winter Night's Lazzo: "In the name of Her Majesty, the Tsaritsa, we will seize authority from the gods... Absolute peace."

      If the original sin in the bible is eating from the tree of knowledge, then what do you think the original sin in genshin is? Btw ur theory is interesting

      @@kim_genshin thankyou! It's hard to say what the exact events were, but I believe the Second Who Came may have exposed the original humans to "forbidden knowledge" somehow. And this was the first time humans had been exposed to it. The term forbidden knowledge has been quite vague up until this point in the story, but it definitely has to do with something divine. I've considered possibilities that it's the fact that the Primordial One is an outlander, or that the people live under a "fake sky", etc. Something that humans are not supposed to know regarding their existence in Teyvat.

    do u think its possible that kaenriah was the real outside of the planet while the 7 nations are on the inside of it which is why the sky and the stars are fake? i remember making a theory about that and figuring that that would mean that kaenriah is the entrance to the entire planet, also the place where the travelers entered teyvat and tried to escape. i also speculate that, if your theory about the 2nd who came impersonating the primordial one was true, the flying woman who captured abyss sibling might be the second who came since we see her red cube stuff attacking kaenriah in the cutscenes when it got destroyed. that would probably mean that the second who came was in that moment on her way to destroy kaenriah

    • @kim_genshin
      @kim_genshin  Před 10 měsíci +1

      I think the reason why the stars are "fake" is because theyre inside a firmament. After all a firmament exists since it was mentioned a few times

      @xiilucy Před 10 měsíci

      @@kim_genshin alr that makes sense but could it still be that the unknown god at the beginning is the second who came? especially if u add that up to ur theory that the 2nd won the battle against the primordial one who then probably destroyed kaenriah because of its knowledge of the primordial one which would explain why her red cubes were in kaenriah

    • @kim_genshin
      @kim_genshin  Před 10 měsíci +2

      @@xiilucy the unknown god is most likely a shade, and specifically the shade of void (there 4 shades: void/time/life/death). Because the unknown god is a celestial god, a sustainer of the heavenly principles (while the primordial one should be THE heavenly principles) and she also looks like Herrscher of VOID from Honkai Impact. I theorize that after the second who came won the war against the primordial one, he forced asmoday (unknown god/shade of void) to work for him. It would also explain why she's kind of "corrupted" you can find this theory here: czcams.com/video/tKIXicEpc5w/video.html
