Thoughts :
Short answer, yes
HoO can still do pretty well even without HoTr
If you are familiar with FR DPS, HoO is basically the 2nd version of it
Lineup like last time uses AE GD FR or GD PV FR, although AE has no place in meta nowadays due to outdated Margrave stig
So GD PV HoO is still a good team to cover lightning boss
HOWEVER...
Bosses like Mysticism and Herrscher of Corruption has different mechanic on transition phase that HoTr can easily deal with it
With GD PV, probably will cost lots of score on transition alone and might need to add one rotation just for cleanup, reducing score even lower
If you don't care too much about score, GD PV is still functional support for HoO
GD can act as subdps as well if HoO missing quite some dmg, she also the one that will finish the core in case HoO fails to finish it
If you have spare crystal, pls just try to get HoTr, even at 1/4 she can function really well
I seriously don't see any reason ppl skipping HoTr
She is truly amazing Herrscher support that is able to proc time fracture just with signature weapon active and provide sp for teammate, and with broken stig set
Rmb that support always last long than DPS herself, even AE herself stay almost 2 years until HoTr dethrone her completely

I agree. HoTr should be priority with regards to the trio, and everyone should pull for her regardless of what they need for their account
Hmm depends on ppl… for me.. i dont really care bout competitive score… as long as i can camp in lotus, but ye i didnt even roll for hotr last patch.. since still doing good with AE myself

This video is released at a really good time since skipping HoTr as of the moment is a considerable move especially if you are really lacking in crystals.
Remember y'all that getting HoO to S2 is such a steal because you only need 50 pulls in the worst case scenario. If you try to pull for HoTr with the same amount of pulls, you might not even get her (and the FOCA/EXPA windows have really short banner durations so you really have to commit if you are pulling). If you are really tight on crystals, this vid proves that this team comp can be a temporary arrangement. You still have to get HoTr in her next rerun tho since she is very important!!!

There is an issue though.. you see this HOO banner pity won't carry forward, so if you didn't get a HOO copy in your 50 pulls, you will endup with S2 yes but when this banner ends your "character card in 50 pulls" pity will be gone, on the other hand pulling on expa the pity will carry forward and you can pull the next S rank if you miss Hotr...so there is pros and cons for both sides its not as easy of a decision as you make it to be, and NGL I am rn really conflicted on what to do
@@vivanmaurya Personally, I would rather let the pity go to waste if I get a guaranteed S2. Reaching S2 normally takes 130 to 160 pulls so "wasting" 50 pity is definitely worth it (with S2 as a huge powerspike for HoO).
@@rgplazo one side is a good deal on a valk gonna be used in neutral and lightning weathers and other side is gear for the staple valk for almost every elemental team for the foreseeable future but her gear will rerun lateron as well....I see your point, but I am still a little reluctant to give up on hotr rn, so I am still stuck in middle grounds
That would be an excellent suggestion because I would have exactly 50 pulls left after getting HoO gears, the only problem is I already have SS HoT which will outdamage even S2 HoO on every weather except IMG.

i’m gonna pull her gear and get HoFin on rerun, i’m also using HoO, aponia, and eden on team bc i spent too much on aponia to take her out of my team lol
You shouldnt use HoO and Aponia on the same team, aponia is better for lighting and general weather unless they are img, instead you should use Pardo, fishl, etc intead of HoO/Aponia
I'm glad that mei is free, the only downgrade is we lost the dragon. Also why almost no one make video about HoFi? Is she really underwhelming outside of trio?
there's no text in beta right now so nobody have any idea what skill hofi does
even hoo, I had to try many times through trial and error to understand how her rotation works since she is pretty easy to rotate compared to trio
outside of trio she's just another Hof and it's not that amazing
HoFi outside of trio is just a regular dps like HoF and Vill-V. It's the main reason why she should be the least priority to get out of the three.
Personal opinion, i didn't like that HoT gameplay was too focused on the dragon, and less focused on Mei, so I prefer this that HoT. Kurikara would be cool to appear in one or 2 moves, but not an entire burst mode about her.

@@spectacularrobotToys sooo apparently her stigmata only helps her combo attacks for the ult build youl want either Handel or bernares set
@@voidbg7017 her set is for combo attack spam signets which also is stronger. For ult dps you need handel. I tested both out and her combo attack spam is much better
Really sad how I'm missing zhenyi completely. I'm using fr / mobius dps depending on weathers now. I plan to 4/4 HoO so handel can go back to eden. But i use fischl with turg tb so I'm bound to lose a lot of points I guess

Its available on BP shop but for f2p will be quite painfull

zhenyi is offrate on mei banner. so this is kinda the only time i hope getting fucked by the offrate because i want zhenyi and also to fully use the 50% back kek

This is an f2p build though, HoO is free, you can get her full gear in 60-80 pulls in 6.4, Handel is farmable so only gacha for Eden is her gun, Zhenyi just went on bp so you only needed to have one piece and Mitternachtz beforehand for Fischl full gear, so the only real non f2p part here is 3* Klein (although if you focused her in spending events it should've been easy to get her to 3* as f2p, and in the vid they said you don't even need it to be doable) and maybe good DK/dorm stats . The f2p part here is mainly not having HoTr too, although even her banner was discounted. I personally think without HoTr, any non full gear option (I feel Fischl could use CFlare as replacement though) is just not going to work for HoO team because of how good HoTr is, but who knows I might be wrong.

How does mei do with fischl and HotR as supports? Is eden a must?
if u have hotr, eden can just enter qte and ult right away since hotr alr give enough sp for eden assuming u use handel on eden
fischl take too much time to ult and use weapon active
also eden has better lead skill over hotr and hoo
fischl and hotr usable but don't expect great performace

@@fluff4411 She requires SSS. The SSS skill gives a huge buff against paralyzed enemies. Keebster compared it to full Magrave vs f2p stigs on AE. So go grab any task that rewards Eden fragments.
I wanted to pull HoO and HoFun, but maybe I’ll focus on getting HoO to S2 1st.
My pity is at 95 after getting HoTr, and she is lacking another 2 gears, so I dont think I could get both HoO & HoFin to fullset.
Guess HoFin will have to wait. 😅
Btw, what is HoO’s insta-kill IMG core? I am not seeing any honkai players using it.

Afterall, without trio teams, the Origin is just a main Lightning DPS. Thanks for showcasing this one. Also I hope you can showcase where the Origin is a supporter/sub-dps when she is in the trio team tho 😅
She isn't a "support" in the trio team, She's a sub DPS that contributes to most damage while also helping kiana deal an extra amount of damage

@@NyllHzri if ya need help, the rotation for trio is:
Usual HoTr rotation (e.g. weap, gundam form, combo, ult)
QTE in HoFi, weap + combo
QTE in HoO, weap, evade, combo, then ult
QTE in HoFi again, weap + combo (again), hold evade (to proc absolute time fracture), weap + full atk seq, then ult
That's pretty much the most complete rotation for the trio. Nothing can be changed (from what I know) on the rotation since HoFi ult is done right before HoTr breach runs out. The rotation might vary slightly since absolute time fracture might not be available on the second rot, but I'm not sure about that one. Either way, happy testing mate
Edit: I forgot that you can weap after absolute time fracture, so pleas do that aftwr entering it lol
Wonder why we even use HoO's ultimate, it deals like no damage
They wouldn't make hoo ultimate dmg too high cuz if dats the case, lots of ppl would've skip hofi for hoo
HoO only serves as img dps alternative
Don't forget that HoO ult also can direct transfer dmg to nihilus core, so it's useful against img, just neutral dmg against normal enemy
Now that I take a look at Andrius I think he is much stronger than his Genshin counterpart.
