Another well done informative video.
Thanks Bruce!!
I sure am envious of the varieties of JM you can grow down there.
Great info on keeping root stock clean. Same lesson for any and all grafted trees.
Well done, brother.
Thank you!!! Do you have any up that way that can survive?
@@thebeardedbonsai some micro-climates might get them going for a few years, but mostly need to overwinter indoors. It’s not just too cold, it’s the length of winter that really wears stuff out up here.
@baldyeti I'd love to visit the state, but can't take that much cold for so long haha
@@thebeardedbonsai ha!
Thank Zeus for tropical trees and grow lights to keep a Yeti sane through those long months
We moved into a house that has a Japanese maple that’s probably 5 years old where the root stock was kept on and now is twice the height of the other half. Can we cut the rootstock side off at this point?
I have 8 maples n none of mine r grafted.
Nice! What varieties do you have?
@@thebeardedbonsai burgundy lace and fireglow are a couple varieties I have.
@@garyjohnson2989 awesome!
@@thebeardedbonsai ty. All that I have r basically projects. Lmao. Doing each a different way...well, the way the tree wants to grow if u know what I mean.
@garyjohnson2989 I totally know what you mean. Jeep me updated and let me know if you make a video, would love to see them!
