I really like the way you put it when you say "attached to the outcome", because when your "value" is measured by the amount of likes, views, etc, it is so easy to forget why you're doing it in the first place. .. hearing someone say “don’t let yourself walk all over yourself” just kinda made a switch in my brain go off like.. omg?? hearing that instead of just “hold yourself accountable” just changed my brain chemistry.. like the generic stuff just goes in one ear and out the other with me. but like “set boundaries for yourself, don’t let yourself walk all over yourself” just.. maybe may have changed my life?? omg 😂

you’re talkin about a purpose liek it’s a big ol’ deep thing but the thing i wanna do as my “dream job” is just bc i like it 😂 like i wanna be a web developer bc i started playing around with it and liked it and then went to school for it and loved it and now just tryna find a job and im just so excited to get a job bc i love it so much lmao. like it’s just fun and it’s one of those things that just give me joy and that is my purpose, and that’s fine haha. a purpose doesn’t really have to be a big deep thing, sometimes it’s just bc you love doing it 😅

2:18 It depends if you are doing it as a form of creative expression or as a way to build a community or as a way to sell a product or service. Paying attention to some metrics will make a difference in that case.
absolutely. but even then, it's important that you don't identify with those results. use them as data to decide what to do next, but never attach your self-worth to the numbers... even if the numbers are great. bc if you do, the moment you don't get the numbers you want (which we all face at some point or another), you'll self-destruct and think "you're the problem"
