If you can ban with F7 reports, can't you just scan every person who joins the server? I can't imagine that'd cost much extra resources

Never really commented or engaged in the chat or comments just wanna say as much as you do a great job banning these cheaters there's just far to many for you to get alone. Joined a solo EU server today low pop but got killed more times than I would on a high pop everything from instant headshots through cliffs to players finding me instantly darting in my direction. The map is huge yet these players all seem to lock in on me I enjoyed warbandits for a few wipes but it's actually one of the worst servers for cheaters.

Hopefully there is a safety feature embedded, that protects honest players from getting kicked/banned by a stinky cheater using the new F7 report. I assume a function that checks whether there are old/other accounts related to the reported one or even more powerful, like having to match pre-defined conditions to allow for a kick/ban and automatically issue a message to the user to inform about the next steps.

Hi camomo. I like what you do and agree with you to 99.99%. but when it comes to the child low grade that you Ban I don't agree. I don't agree the second you ban him, he hasn't made a choice at all, he reflects on your question and reflects on what choice he has. The boy can probably not be more than 10. You point out that you don't even have to talk to those you ban which is completely correct, but You have chosen to talk to people and sometimes there are children and then you have a greater obligation as an adult to also let children reflect. You want people to learn and understand. You can imagine that it was your son when he is 10 and he ends up in the same situation.
Otherwise continue with your job, like what you do.

Strangers on internet are not required to give moral and ethical lectures to someone else’s kids over the internet.
The fact that you think otherwise is what causes these kids to try to be around older adult cheaters. Kids should be playing with family and other kids plain and simple.
Camomo is also not required to baby someone because they do not understand the consequences to cheating. Life isn’t fair, and sometimes those lessons teach more.

Cam's an admin, not a daycare worker nor their parents. Doesn't matter their age if they cheat or knowingly play with cheaters they are all the same. They made the choice to cheat or play with cheaters so they should be held to the same set of rules. He has no "obligation" to do anything with them. They made the wrong choice so they gotta live with it. If the kid did reflect on his actions then he can still play the game after the ban is up.

      You are wasting your time...
Deaf ears my friend, you have seen his true colors now.
Look at the comments, even this post has some mouth breathers making the same immature Waaaaa sound to mock the kid...
Justifying Camomo's behaviour because HE IS NOT A DAYCARE... ... Among other low brow comments MOCKING A CHILD.
Don't waste your time, and keep in mind, if they cannot see how this is wrong without YOU explaining it to them... what makes you think they will understand when you are NOT THERE to explain it?
They will simply revert to what they know, sadly we are NOT all born equal, as Camomo regularly demonstrates.
He is not a monster or anything extreme like some people would have you believe, he is just ... simple... ahem.
Combined with the fact that dealing with racist, vulgar and toxic people EVERY DAY is going to take a TOLL. (Understatement).
We can all get behind stopping and removing cheaters, which is why I believe most people tolerate or overlook the obvious abuse.
Two wrongs never make a right...
Not that YOU need to hear that, and the mouth breathers lack the capacity to understand or empathize.
Don't waste your time, if someone needs you to convince them... They are already a lost cause.

How was a obviously very young kid beginning to cry over liking a server and being in trouble on the verge of being banned disrespectful? Sorry that was a fail kids over react you should have listened a bit more and made sure he was actually going to be rude or something. I did not think that sounded fake but more like my 7-8 year old nephews when they are told there grounded from their video games...

You are surprised because you thought Camomo was a decent person.
I am willing to bet he might have been a nice guy at some point in time... not anymore.
The way he makes juvenile mockery sounds like "Waaaa or fart sounds" should tell you how immature he is AND that he lacks any kind of empathy.
Any adult "especially parents" understand that when someone is accused of something they have not done, they will not only be offended, they will also VERY LIKELY lash out at the accuser.
The part that gets me, is that Camomo IS A PARENT, (feel sad for his poor kid), anyone who can have such hostility TOWARDS A CHILD "cheater or not", is not a decent person! (Do the math)...
I found out about this channel in my abnormal psychology class.
He is one of the CZcamsrs used as an example for passive aggressive behaviour, as well as the connection between insecurity and megalomania.

It did feel a little bit weird but at the end of the day Rust is absolutely not a game for children that can't control their emotions. Their parents have failed them and a Rust admin isn't obligated to do the parenting for them.

The kid had it coming... Kid walks into LIONS DEN, (hostile PvP game), AND was cheating in the land of Camomo, directly or not is irrelevant...
This is not the "Poke me man" game, you don't come to Rust for friendship and adventure HAND IN HAND YAY!
No matter how you slice it, it was NOT going to end well for froufrou the lovely butterfart... A.k.a. the kid.
That said, there is room for argument on METHODS, being compelled to go the extra mile, for a booger eating kid, should not be a BIG ASK.
Least of all for someone who is a parent themselves, dealing with an emotionally unstable booger eater.. not a far cry..
Kids turn parents into one of two things, completely insane OR Grand Masters of patience, it starts with insanity... and if you are lucky, you develop near infinite G.M. levels of patience, (if you survive)...
I am guessing Camomo is still in stage one.. insanity..

Camomo is a fine example of what happens when you surround yourself with foul people (angry cheaters).
I suspect he was once a decent person who wanted to make the game enjoyable for honest players.
Now he is a bitter/jaded old man who gets his jollies (and paycheck) from acting tough with CHILDREN and people who say BRO every three seconds...
Reminds me of the saying: You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
