The third guitarist is Janick Gers. He joined Iron maiden as a replacement when Adrian Smith, the guitarist on your right as you watch the video left the band. However Smith re joined the band in 1999, but they continued with 3 guitarists, and still do today.
Great monday maiden reactions. You are right the band got more active on stage during years. And eddie!!! He changes according to the album and theme of the song. And maybe you should react to The Iron Maiden(title song), and at the end of the song a giant eddie appears behind the drummer, nicko. You can check 1985 long beach arena, 2019 live charter, 2012 en vivo version
It was at a place called Whitley Bay and they played at an ice rink. The ice was covered in boards and carpet. Probably only 5000 there. There's some bootleg videos on CZcams. The DVD they made was called Maiden England it's a good watch.
It was after this tour Adrian Smith left/wasn't invited back. Smith was unhappy that the band weren't keeping to the correct tempo, playing too fast and standards were slipping. He was the bands quality control and things went downhill for a bit until he rejoined in 1998. Bruce Dickinson left for similar reasons a couple of years later and there was some bad blood. In 1998 when Dickinson was asked back, he only re-joined on the basis that Smith did as well. No one wanted to get rid of Smith's replacement and so they became a six piece
Seen this tour at Joe Louis Arena ace Fraley opened... What's crazy is for the 7th son tour with an ???? Band ([waysted). Sold-out or 15,000 plus, but with ace maybe 7,000 ???? Detroit and lots of my friends didn't care for 7th...
Not a bad song but not their greatest although Bruce’s vocals were top notch. Janick didn’t join the band until 1990 giving them a bit more individual presence and movement on stage. Dave and Adrian never were that active and tended to stay to their own sides. Eddie’s story began before their first album came out. He was just a head made out of paper mache behind the drums. London accent pronounced ‘Ead’, so Eddie the ‘Ead was a nickname given to him. Best to google him or you will be reading this all year. Not much audience coverage in this video but great reaction from yourself.

Best thing was Adrian and Bruce coming back, made such a difference to the song writing, glad they kept Janic he is such a character
Janick can be hit or miss sometimes but when he hits its a whole new level for the band
Janick is a good showman but his solo work live is the same - he tries to play fast and doesn’t stick to the original solo.
I think this is (you chose) the best live version of this song.
Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour was the first time I saw Iron Maiden live. Great show and probably the best I've seen with them.
Me too. I was 15. Dad drove us. Awesomeness.

They have done this song on a recent tour.
I was lucky enough to go and see this tour in England. I still have the tour programme 😁
Oh man, lucky you...nothing more worth than keeping such memories...
WOW! That's awesome

I saw them kick this tour of in Canada. Great show.
My mum chucked my programme from Monsters Of Rock 88 in the bin while tidying my room, Absolutely gutted.🙄

this is from there 7th album , if you want to see them in the early years you have to go to 1980 / 81 with Paul Di'anno as there frontman

One of the best songs to see them play live. Unfortunately they dumped it on the last tour. Hopefully it is back when they tour again!
Great performance. More maiden every monday
Happy you gonna continue with Maiden. Up the Irons 🤘🏻🔥
Good song. Good reaction. Try something live around 1982 - children of the damned!”

Joined in 1990 for no prayer for the dying
@@brucedickinson12 you are right. My mistake.
The beginning of them repeating the chorus which is not a nice move imo
I think that too but really started with Caught Somewhere In Time song. A habit they find it hard to shake off.
I really get excited anytime they have new material come out and a song starts off rockin and right into it , with less chorus :)
Everyone is standing still because they have to focus on playing or singing
And don't forget every instrument and mic had a cord back in 1988
