"Choose Me" -- a song featured in the Netflix original movie "KATE" as BAND MAID, has so many great RnR chops, it's kinda unbelievable. From Saiki's old-school phrasing, cadence and a super soulful vocal at the end; MISA's driving bass, her special riff after Kanami's brilliant, rocking main solo (complete with harmonic pinch), and her pulls at the end of the song that really funks it up with Akane's drumming; to Kanami's original composition, off-beat octave stretches during the verses, and her addition of a second uncomplicated yet super tasty solo; to Akane's unique snare & tom flurry that launches the choruses; and to Miku's octave-down, in & out vocal backup and lyrics... all makes "Choose Me" a throwback rocker that surprised me when I first heard it - and I'll bet most anyone - that they would come up with this western-style, rock 'n roll classic.
Of course, after years later, it's not surprising at all coming from this important band of geniuses who are, along with The Warning band, almost single-handedly bringing back the joys and soulfulness of rock for people from all places and ages to hear. a lot of good bands in Japan, but Band~Maid better than any others!They are the best Band in the world right now!
I really love them but I'm a little impartial to Love Bites which I think will be up tomorrow. Band Maid is absolutely spectacular and amazing also and I will definitely do much more of them. Thanks for watching I really appreciate it.

Saiki's name was the only one you were a bit off on. I think this way would be the easiest way to say it. "Sigh Key" - "Psi Kee" - "Sy Kee" . While Sigh - Ee - Key is technically correct, the way a Japanese person would pronounce it is completely different from how a westerner would. So the other ways would be more correct aurally.
And Slapshot is HILARIOUS!!! According to Paul Newman, Slapshot is the film that made him swear unconsciously. LandumC Goes There recently had a video about it that you may find very informative.

Band-Maid is my favorite Japanese rock band, and one of my favorites of all time!
They are absolutely amazing and spectacular but I am a little impartial to Love Bites. We all have opinions and that's what makes the world go round. My favorites of all time are still LED Zeppelin and Deep Purple. I am finding so many fabulous bands and artists that I never knew existed. Thanks for watching

I've been around almost 7 decades, and have seen and heard tons great bands, Deep Purple, The Beatles, The Animals, Led Zeppelin, The Donna's, The Runaways among others are all top favorites of mine, and I put Band-Maid in line with them!

@@grumpyoldguyreacts Really just too many to list. I kind of tuned out of new music in the late 90's, and was surprised and delighted to hear Band-Maid, The Warning, and Liliac, and others, turning out great new music!

They are awesome and completely rockers. The world is getting smaller and music is paving the way. I watch your food shorts too. The only food I can't eat is beets.

Noticed when you list off the bands you didnt include Nemophila or Hanabie. Usually fans who like Band-Maid, Lovebites, and Babymetal also like these bands as well... unless you dont like singers who growl
No I'm not a big fan of growling but I have Nemophila coming up today or early next week. I never heard of Hanabie. I will have to check them out. Thanks so very much for watching I really appreciate it.
