My aunt had pancreas cancer. The doctor said her life expectancy was six months. The only chance to live longer was a very risky surgery and she had 1% to survive the surgery. She replied: I won’t be here waiting to die. She decided to have the surgery. She survived and is still alive after several years. She is living well! Sometimes 1% is all we have and all we need!

This Lady really inspired me emotionally. I have stage four breast cancer. It's spreading like hers but slowly. I know how this very special woman feels. And I know the pain and worry of cancer. It can be unforgiving

I’m a pretty hardcore ninja from the projects and I don’t even listen to this type of music and this shit made my grown 36 year old ass cry like a little bitch. In a good way like tears of happiness and renewed my faith in humanity and renewed my faith in myself and shit, I needed these tears of happiness, I’m so unbelievably proud of this woman and I actually believe she’s gonna beat cancer for good, I believe Gods got her back.

Cancel the big deal it's like a war inside you I should know because my mom died from cancer and my dad now my brother has.
I just saw Nightbirde on a short CZcams snippet and did not know she had cancer until I searched for the entire performance on CZcams and then to learn she fought it and went into remission and now recently died all within 10 minutes of first being mesmerized by her voice and her unique appearance. I am truly devastated by her passing. May God hold and cherish her soul for all eternity.

She gave me that final push to fight the first time I watched this video...I love her, her voice, her personality even though I don't actually know her...she is so full of LIGHT and hope even when the darkness just keeps trying to pull her in by giving her lung, spine and liver cancer! She deserves to be an idol and I hope she wins her fight against cancer.

Wow, she sounds so beautiful and although she is going thru the cancer, she seems so happy.
I was so moved when I first heard her story and her song has become regular solace. I wished for a miracle and thought it hadn't come. Yet on reflection, I think the miracle is that so many have realised her story is our story. We are all pursued by the dark and death is always hunting. At 50, I didn't think a young woman could teach me to look at the world differently, but I am trying to make wiser choices now and not to "wait until life isn't hard anymore before choosing to be happy". Thank you Nightbirde- fly on in peace. And to every one else, I hope you find your happiness too.

She has been a great inspiration for me. I listen to this song on CZcams with earphones as an anthem for me. Especially as I sit for 3 hrs during Chemo treatments. You see, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 cancer and I know this is treatable but the journey is rough. I commend how with 2% chances nothing stopped her from following her dreams in spite how rough her journey must be. Absolutely love her! Thank you Nightbird.

I'm recovering from an amputation and certain complications and fighting each day to save my foot.
And my little guardian angel pets keep me sane and going.
I know chemo has terrible side effects.
I had a friend staying in with me during his chemo so I know.
Take a day at a time, do your treatment and keep busy n happy with what you enjoy doing.
I've been almost totally bedridden for a year but made each day as good for myself with my beloved pets around me..
Listening to music, sleeping in late and writing..
