As someone who struggles with depression and suicidal ideation a lot, her quote "don't you want to see what happens if you choose not to give up" REALLY got me into my feels. I didnt know how much I needed to hear that
I completely related to that for the same reasons, Steph!!! She was such an inspiration & it sucks that she's gone. I just saw her video on AGT this morning and learned about her, and her subsequent passing. She was such a star and while the world is a little darker without her in it, it's also permanently brighter because she was in it. Hang in there, Steph! You're not alone.
I'm not sure Nightbirde ever understood how many lives she has saved and how many people she has helped. Her strength and beauty will always be a brilliant example to us all. An absolute angel. I hope we can honour her amazing spirit.

People do not understand how powerful she was even facing this fatal disease. Despite being blown every time, she never lost hope. You must appreciate what you have, health and life, what she did not get a break to have. It is what all of us should learn from her. I still visit her videos because she reinforces my will with her positiveness.

Please someone the world deserves to love and cherish her music and magical beauty. I have had SLE Lupus almost 21 years. I dealt with open heart surgery and breast cancer since 2014 and 2015 and I thought I was strong. Nightbirde I am sending you my strength and prayers and my faith, I asked my guardian Angel to please please guard over you. I know you are a Angel here on earth and God has you wrapped tightly in His love and Grace. I don’t want to sound selfish but your beautiful music and grace brings happiness to me and yes the world. Stay your sweet self and shining on.

Sounds so simple, yet that statement is filled with such strength, complexity, and appreciation for life. Man i really hope she beats her cancer, she would be such an example to the rest of the world of how someone can come back from a 2% chance of surviving and making it, that would send a super strong mssg and vote of confidence to others going through similar situations, and might be the difference between someone deciding to fight or give all hopes up, ultimately being what saves other people's lives across the world. From the bottom of my heart, i hope with everything in me you make it girl.

In a world where defensive walls prevail, these peoples defenses tend to stay open and vulnerable to all energies… whether they like it or not.
Some become so wounded and trapped in life’s painful illusion, it beckons them to a “protective” darkness while others manage to scrape together courage and strength to follow (what may be beyond difficult in those moments) the path of light…
Therefore its more important than ever (as our world population skyrockets) to be aware of even our most miniscule of words and actions, and to spread kindness and love, especially to the ones who are hateful and hardened…

I have cancer in my liver and lung and the pain/depression that the illness and medication causes is extremely hard to deal with. It takes everything you have to get through the day just to turn around and do it again tomorrow and the next day. And to do it with a smile and humor takes so much. Many days I don't have the energy to breathe and I have more respect and admiration for this little bird is huge. Keep fighting girl.

it's nothing to do with a belief in god. She is just one very tough ,determined young women. She is fighting against the forces of nature and I wish her the best.
Chris, you asked if she has always been this way... She may not think so, but I can say yes. As kids, Jane & I went to the same church. She always had a heart of gold. We were missionaries in a foreign land doing God's work. She sung melodies of God's word on stage on Sunday's. She needs a miracle, she needs healing. She is so beautiful inside and out. You are so strong Jane. Thanks for becoming a light in so many of our lives.

I have fallen for this lady as she saved my life with her song "It's Okay" i listened to the lyrics one night and realized i was throwing away a lot for very little return,All i was doing was giving up,Jane was a life line with just her words when my life was in turmoil, If she can face cancer like an angel with grace and compassion, then i can face life even when it feels less than worth living, She is a soul with a purpose and she has given me new purpose, I really hope one day to hear her live on stage and maybe meet her. I wish her every luck and much thanks for writing that song.

Jane was a Christian (She still is in Heaven). Ofc the most joyful person while going thru the worst, loves Jesus so much and is at peace.
