Wow great vis. I never had it that good !
excellent work, do not stop doing sports, I am a Senegalese scuba diver, who goes down to 50 meters deep to catch red groupers ... from 20 to 30 kilos, thank God for giving us the resistance to adapt at this depth which is called deep space, of beautiful nature, coral, flowers, all kinds that live in the water, you will know that god is unique, but I am proud of you, and your work that I love since my childhood and I am now in Mauritania (Nouakchott) thanks to my two brothers (cousins) diver Gana Diouf and khadim Diouf professional diver Senegalese.Thank you on this beautiful video long live diving, my passion🙏🏾❤👌🏿🚭🤿

Professional working nice
How the heck do you keep that welding rod right there without floating away? I have a hard time stick welding without water.
It's not easy, it's a real struggle when you start out but you'll find ways to steady yourself and predict water movement. A good pair of fins for all the kicking is also a help.
I don’t know why it cracks me up because it’s perfectly sensible but I just love the power washer under water 😂
Can’t imagine life without it. Just so easy and convenient
🔥Alto.
👌
Очень хорошая работа.
Wow that is some beautifully clear water! Looks like the Red Sea.
I bet canals aren't usually that clear when you do this kind of work eh?
Good work and carefully done😍
Thanks buddy!
Nice job 👍👍👍

gajab kya bat salutes for you

The water looks very clean and transparent , i expect to see more polution , but thinking better , may be the proximity with glaciars mades this transparent water , nice video .
No glaciers here mate, but in the cooler months there is less plankton, jellyfish and other particles in the water so it can be very clear, even in the Capitol's waterways.
Be on the winning Side 😉
This shows man can do anything 😲engineers create the world nd this proves😲
Yet, mankind can not dispose of plastic in an environmental friendly manner. Will the plastic straw break the camels back?
Excellent work. By the way , what's type of welding is this? GTAW/SMAW etc?
Thanks! Stick welding (shielded metal)
Allan Pedersen Thank you for your prompt reply.
I've been stick welding for about a year now, plate and pipe. How hard is it to get into this field and what's the difference in the rods? Is it a wax coating instead of flux?
Quite often we just use a standard böhler ohv rod dipped in wax, but there are some made for wet welding. Depends on the job.
It’s not hard getting the dive license you just sign up for training at a dive academy near you, but getting a job afterwards can take some time, depending on how high the demand is.
Great video work, Viz was perfect for this, What cameras are you guys using?
This was GoPro Hero 3+ / 4 Silver
Allan the footage is great, I have the Hero 3+ Black, Hero 6 Black and the disappointing Hero 7. But the 3 has been a great camera especially with all the extended batteries that are available.
Thanks buddy! Would you elaborate on why the Hero7 is disappointing? For riding motorcycles I’d like to upgrade at some point and get the smooth function while riding trails.
good job

wall done work dear
I need this job, this is where my soul belongs.
very nice video!
Thank you
Iv been looking this up in the uk im a hobby diver and do alot of welding wouldnt mind putting the 2 together its just trying to find the right direction to go in
You'd probably need a commercial divers license to carry out this kind if work in the UK. There are several European training facilities. In Norway it takes about 3 months to get the cert, then add a welding cert, typically a couple of weeks and you're good to go!
@@allanpedersen9279 is work easy to find or would you be paying for a course and spending a year trying to find work im a digger driver so always have work why i wait for an opportunity is this a full time career as in always in work
Industry is up and down. It also depends on where you are based. Some people are lucky and get work straight out of school and do additional courses between projects, other keep adding courses while waiting for jobs. Hard to say, but having something else to fall back on is a good idea.
What a world.
Amazing you e solved a big question fore
One less mystery?

Been thinking about becoming a commercial diver. Does it pay well?
Not necessarily. It depends on where you work, who you work for and what projects you are hired for.
Have a look at facebook groups for commercial divers in your region and see if they are posting jobs and salaries
Hi Allan, apparently you are using exodus cutting rods. Do you feel any difference compared to the well known black taped rods ?
Hello Francis!
I find that we don't have problems with the rods touching metal and getting gas coming through perforated tape like on the black or yellow taped rods. When we switched most of us divers found that they could be a little harder to re-ignite than taped ones if you'd used half the rod, but it's not something I think about any more. We like them.
Thanks for your reply Allan, that’s what the divers over here (Belgium) also told me. It was a little problem for them at the beginning especially for the water we have here where we often have nil or reduced visibility. But apparently once you know from where the problem comes, it is easy to immediately take care of it and feel the end of the rod before resuming the cut.

All equipment are waterproof
Some are like lights and camera, some might not be, like some pneumatic tools can be standard hardware store tools that just need proper maintenance after using them in water.

I'm from south Africa how do I get started? What type of welding course do I need?
You sign up for commercial dive training at a school or academy (which ever they call them in S.A.) after that you find out what welding qualifications are needed where you want to work.
เปิดน้ำไม่ได้
Can you please give a brief summary of how you became an underwater welder from high school?
I went traveling and living abroad when I was 21 opened a dive shop in Thailand. When I was 35 I went to NYD Norwegian Commercial dive training in Norway. It s a 4 months course, after that I started working, doing extra courses when not diving.
Allan Pedersen so you went to Norway, got back to Denmark and got the job right? I live Sweden, planning to go to same school in Norway.
I worked 6 months in Norway after graduation, then half a year in Thailand before heading back to Denmark.
Allan Pedersen ah thanks for clarifying. Was it at the dive shop in Thailand, or underwater construction work?
Allan Pedersen How was workin in Thailand? One diver told me that the pay is pretty good when they have jobs. He also said that most divers just sit on the beach the whole day and when the phone rings just go to the job, then back to the beach and wait for the next one.
Im MIG -REL welder from Bosnia and Herzegovina, we don't have scholl for underwoter welding, but i want learn that ,how can i be that welder?my english iz not good, but i hope in that you are understend me ❤️❤️💪💪
First you have to become a diver. You can find commercial dive academies in France, Norway, England, South Africa etc.
After you have done your commercial dive training you can take an underwater welding course in England, Belgium, Thailand etc….. It takes time and cost money.
