Nice qs build. Im saving up to get the qs138 v3 from electro to put on my razor mx6000. Its gonna be a task with all the welding but im glad to have an ace of a welder as a friend. Lol just gotta get the kit first so we can line everything up on the razor mx

I honestly didnt keep track of everything since it was my buddys build i just sent parts and he paid. Hes probably got about 5-6k into it with the qs138 kit from aliexpress and the hardware, all the steel, 12v reducer, waterproof connectors, wires, fork kit, wheels and tires, basically everything on the bike except the frame. It definitely was a bit more expensive since we added the light kit to make it street legal. I plan on doing a build for myself one day, so ill make sure to list everything i use and make thorough videos for everyone!
This is awesome man, love it, Whats the Range? Is it possible to have it setup to do 70 miles or more? Or the batteries wont fit in the frame. I am thinking 70 miles at 50mph or a little more. Thanks!
Range is always a super hard question to answer. But heres my best, this bike has a 40ah battery and its running around 12kw normally as its not turned all the way up and id say it gets about 35-40 miles of range. But its an in town cruiser/stunt bike and most of our speed limits are 35-40. If you want 70 miles at 50mph your gonna need a massive battery for sure. Something like a grom clone or bigger with a ton of space. These little pitbikes and even bigger 450 frames can only take so much before the weight and size of the battery make them useless and un-ridable. Even at 40ah with the big qs motor its a heavy bike!

I actually cut them out and welded up a bracket out of steel with a grinder 👌 custom made! Ill make a video when all the parts are made sgowing off what i fabbed if it helps

You could probably just cut it put as one piece and bend it aswell. Just gotta get creative with some cardboard and then copy it to some steel!

Can you compare 165 and 138? Which one is better if supply 100A for them?
Unfortunately the bike in the video is not mine so i dont have it. But thr 165 is built for high rpm and the 138 is low rpm but high torque. Both have different uses for different styles of bike and room.
What do you think about 138 to sur ron light bee build. Is it worth the job if to use bike on road not offroad?

I used a 72v 40ah 200amp continuous 400-450 amp burst 🤘
Yeah its the 138 90h no gear reduction but as you know they are coming out with the 90h v3 model which would have been awesome 😆 something new always comes out right after you buy something lol. That would be awesome and in my case perfect to have a battery fit the mototec and have 200 amp continuous i think running at around that amperage is the perfect amount of crazy on these tiny bikes 🤘😁 i think im gonna sticj to my plan and drop the bottom down avout 3 inches and i should be able to fit this 72v 40ah battery im using for my buddys ssr. But yeah for a big bike 25-30kw would be awesome! My buddy has a second qs138 motor kit and a blaster he wants me to build aswell so i think we are gonna shoot for the sky on that one! Im glad i could spread the addiction 😁🤘

I think the 90h is rated 4kw but ive seen plenty push 30kw+ out of them. And yeah definitely thats a reliable store, they are basically all the same company

People have been pushing the qs motors for a long time now, even longer than ive been into electric. The easiest way to tell a motors limit is when you turn the power up in increments and that point where it starts to get very hot and adding more power just doesnt do anything is a good tell of when its tapped out. You wont have to modify the motor you just need a battery and controller capable of the amps your looking for!

The kit came with a fardriver but siaecosys i guess uses their own firmware and re labeled it as a sia72180. Its supposed to be 180line amps 220 max and 660 phase. But its basically a fardriver 72490 so im not too sure about the specs lol but for this ssr its definitely plenty
It's got reverse never seen a bike with reverse that's sick.
Yeah its definitely wierd lol my mototec has reverse aswell, its a standard funtion with fardriver 🤘😁

bro how could you make ct22 work with fardrive? my ct22 works with another controllers but with fardrive is messy
Not much of it actually runs off the controller. Main power comes from battery voltage, speed signal is off one of the hall wires, all the leds for turn signals and lights are run of the 12v signal coming from the switches. Same with the modes. What are you trying to make work?
@@EmxBrandon The speedometer. It is working good in other controllers, very accurate (i know the formula). But in farDrive controller, no matter wich wire (purple or light blue) speedometer is messy. (I have no problem with wiring ct22, I use Siaecosys motorcycle harness that matches ct22 + z6 throttle + fardrive)
@@oclipper6771 gotcha i am not using those wires i just spliced the speed wire from the display into a hall wire. I have yet to dial it in though so im not 100% sure how accurate it will be.

@@oclipper6771 im using green, i actually think i saw your post on a Facebook group. As far as i know it doesnt matter which phase wire you use but i could be wrong. Definitely keep me updated! I have a dkd display hooked up to my 72330b encoder running off the one line wire and its very accurate. I believe i had the speed pulse at 16 and never messed with anything other than the wheel ratio. I was under the assumption that the ct 22 on got pulse signal and didnt work like the dkd with one line and can signal

I think its mainly the town i live in, its got alot of cops everywhere and on the beach so everyone is super uptight 😆 most of the people on youtube or whatever always seem to live in big citys where cops have better things to do than mess with someone riding an ebike.
