Hello Ingrid, I have burning questions to ask you! When you did your Nordic running, how high were your poles in comparison to your height. I want to do a lot of Nordic running this coming winter but nobody seems to know anything here in Vancouver! Further, did you use normal cross country poles or just a set hiking poles? Thank you for your kind advice.

The length should be 10 cm lower than classic ski poles. Classic ski poles are usually 80-83% of your height, which should be right about 25-30 cm below your height, depending on how tall you are. The "golden rule" is that the height of the nordic running poles should be the distance from your hand to the ground when you hold your arm like this: L.(90 degrees) if that makes sense haha. Every person I know use normal cross country poles

@@martyyypartyyy5085 Thnk you very much for the advice. I really appreciate it. I should try using my hiking poles first on artificial tuft as these poles are adjustable.

@@michaelyblam yes, I think the difference between the poles is mostly the weight of them. With adjustable poles you can also try to find out what works best for you. Good luck with the training:)
