Lol they took his older face and put Iron Man 1 hair on it. Still great sculpt and paint but Hot Toys missed their mark on this guy IMO.
Sadly you're right he looks too old for Iron Man 1
I kinda explained the reason why he’s got the eye bags etc
@@JustinsCollection can't wait to receive mind Side Show is always slow releasing there's but I don't like how he looks older and yes I know how you explained it but he shouldn't look that much older

Shut the front door! Totally sick! I love that in the Delux set has the 2 extra pieces. Mask plate and Arc Reactor. They are a nice touch and the light as well for the reactor. Proportions look great. The head sculpt is even better. They did a bang up job.

I've got the Armor Testing set, it's nice to see the differences between the two. This is a great set, I wish I had the space to get it. I really would love to get a re-issue of the MK 2!

Yess ive been waiting for this review! i mean, its a decent figure, it doesnt have any flaws except for the ones you said on the video and the swap out boot was really unfortunate but overall its a great figure

Beautiful headsculpt. Likeness is spot on. He looks a little older than what he looke like back in 2008, but that's fine. Great figure!

Mannn pics/vids don’t do it justice, just received mine and man it’s absolutely amazing (one of my fav hot toys to date).opted for the normal edition since I didn’t need the deluxe . Can’t stop staring at it in my display case

Just picked up this figure and came across your review. It's a great figure for sure. Great head sculpt that I wish they would of used for the Mark 1 2.0 diecast.

This is one of my favorite Hot Toys Iron Man figures. Picked one up a month back.
HT is definitely flexing their muscles with that portrait! It's honestly nigh perfect. And those boots! You would think they're diecast.
My main complaint with it has to do with the proportions - I think the body is a little too small/slim. And no ankle articulation. Doesn't really bother me that much, though.
I absolutely adore the scenes where Tony is building up the Mark 2, so this is a must pick for me. For anyone on the fence with this: don't sleep on it.

I didn't realize this was a 2.0 version. It's an incredible figure and possibly the best Tony Stark head sculpt. I'm a little disappointed that the boots are not removable, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I'm really excited to add this figure to my collection. By the way, your figure posing in this review is excellent. I may steal one for my own collection!

@@someguy7547 no I never did nor has any reviewers I found mention it but thanks for asking. I went ahead with diorama plan and I’ll just have to spread the word of its size once I get my mech test Tony.
Same. Sideshow fully charged me the other day and supposedly mine will ship within 10 days…so I will come back and provide the dimensions. I have a space for it in mind and I think it’s going to close!

I always liked the shape of Tony's beard. Definitely not the usual way a man would wear a beard. I never shave the same way twice. I like to style it up, make it look different every month. I do NOT like having a mustache only.

I think your headsculpt is slightly different from what everyone else got, if you check out Jedha Patrol's review and then Sideshow's their versions don't have the eyebags.

sorry Justin but I just watch Side Show Tony First look review Hot Toys and I don't see any eye bags on the Tony Stark head sculpt that they are showing ? maybe you can take a look and explain why yours looks different ...maybe lighting but even his face looks younger than the one your showing ?..... I have a side by side picture that I will send you ....just check it out the side show Tony first look posted 6 days ago it looks amazing ???
Because they light their figures from the front and it washes out all shadows and detail on the sculpts.
