Got to fly a C-47 in Australia! Recommend duplicating the scale rudder hinge line; which is well inset into the rudder and provides an aerodynamic balance for the large surface. Some strips of plastic card stock would work fine to make the extended hinges.

Check out "Flite test Beginner series" on youtube, they were very helpful to me
They have some twin engine designs that would probably have similar transmitter/receiver settings to this

87 to 60 is about 69% you can use A0 size plans and then print them in poster with 69% size
