- Owl City's Fireflies but if Eric Whitacre made a barbershop tag. Arranged and performed by me. This was more inspired by the barbershop arrangements of Disney tracks, less of a focus on dominant chords and more on gorgeous voice leading and rich, lush chords and such. I'd love to hear some better singers give this a go! This is very fun, so what other songs should I make tags out of? :---)

yep this idea basically came from "to face the sky" having the same melody as "that planet earth"
reeeally nice arrangement, just letting you know that in barbershop it’s customary to put the tenor and the lead on 1 staff, and the bari and the bass on another staff (bass clef)
trust me I know, I just use Guitar Pro 7 for notation which is finicky doing multiple voices in one staff, I also personally prefer having each voice separate (and this is very unconventionally "barbershop" in several other ways lol)

Wow, what a beautiful series of chords you've pulled the melody into here. Would love to see you do more from this era of indie pop, like Passion Pit, Phoenix, etc. There are some melodies on the Chunk of Change EP that never really got their time in the spotlight, could be a cool place to go digging :)

very hard question to answer, it changes a lot, I've been a fan since 2011, Sleep is the piece that changed my life the most but as I got more into his stuff, Nox Aurumque might be my fav now, incredibly dark and haunting but with a euphoric climax
