Honestly, as long as he's not next to the actual Mafex Spider-man, he resembles the Mcfarlane Spider-man classics spider-man figure.

It seems the bootleg is even better than most domestic figures for the same price 😂. The bootleg is amazing, but the real SHF and Mafex imports are spectacular. No pun intended.

Nice video. The bootleg actually does a good job replicating the real one. Feels like a little more attention and they can really tighten up the bootleg. In hindsight, this also shows that maybe the Mafex is not worth all that money.
I love action figures but it is hard to explain the price difference between them. This one was pretty good for a bootleg and really cheap especially compared to the price now.

The only good thing about fake figures is that you get extra accessories.
Just shows you how much more they charge for figures that you know didnt cost anywhere near what the charge is. They been making a fake of almost everything now.

The real one is only a Quarter inch taller the ko one there almost the same size

Joints are always one of the most noticeable things in bootleg figures
Especially with this one lol this one was pretty bad compared to the real but a huge price difference
@@TheCollectionDimension Which is why I'm getting it. As long as the plastic ain't dollar store garbage and the joints are alright, I'm buying the bootleg. Also because it comes with magnetic hands/feet, all the hands you want or need, plenty of webs, and a stand. That is worth $25, even if the paint ain't the best.
I want to buy the KO, but every listing on eBay says "used". Was this the case with your figure?

They have a newer version of the KO where the height matches with the authentic version

Tbh i kinda like the bootleg better bc it darker but if the bootleg get improved with the pinting and joints then it will be kinda better then the real one.
I have the bootleg, has no ab crunch. No matter how you bend the arms and legs, his upper body is always straight. I just pose him standing vanilla on my shelf 😂

My bootlegs butterfly joints are glued in. I think it will be a fun figure to try and repaint.
I just got an ORIGINAL Batman Year Two Gold Label and it came all messed up and defected.. Abs don't crunch, one arm cannot be detached, the other arm can't be attached, one of the arms seems to be glued and can't move the joint.. It's a mess

I got the comic version of mafex spider-man off of Amazon and it wasn’t fake, I got it for around the same price and it scared me after watching this video because I thought mine was fake so after checking the box it wasn’t fake I’m so glad, I hope you were able to get your refund!
I found one on ebay for only $30, its got the medicom toys logo on the front and the marvel logo on the back but no marvel logo on the front, Im really torn if its is a bootleg or not
Its a bootleg. They started to add the logo where they could. Marvel is not going to do it without a logo on the front and they also rereleased this in a smaller box.

As stated in other comments, there's been an updated version of the KO where the new one now has the same height as the authentic one and even has improved articulation.
My question is: since people can (and often do) swap out the authentic figs from the box with the KOs and sell them as authentic, how can one tell if they're a fake? I ask because I purchased a used but supposedly authentic figure but it has a few mistakes in paint applications, kinda weak magnets, and the joints are not as strong as I would have thought. It also looks like the shoulder pieces may be different colored plastic? Anyway, I don't know if I've been stiffed or if I'm too scrutinizing.

@@jedespiritu3622 I've really no idea, since all the listings for a KO are quite similar and tend to use the same pictures. You could try looking up another review of the updated KO vs the first version and see if the uploader provided a link to getting the newer one. Good luck!
Late reply, but the weak magnets and loose joints are probably because it's just an old figure. The paint apps is debatable. If it's just a subtle defect, then it's just part of the QC maybe. But if it looks obvious, like the black web lines bleed out of the sculpt, then it might be a bootleg. Other bootleg traits would be miscolored joints, either way too glossy or matte finish, and bad decals. The Peter Parker face on the fake one really gives it off, right away you can tell it's not the real deal.
I have a friend named Josiah and he loves Spider-Man a loft and I like Spiderman when I was a kid and I did see the new movie Spider-man far from home if you haven't seen it yet you should see it it's very good and I'm not going to spoil it for you

Not bad, not bad at all.. i kinda thought that you was not going to get in the nitty gritty of what is good and bad about the figs bit you actually surprised me. Also i will be getting the knockoff because i just want a classic Spider-man or Mcfarlane Spidey and personally I dont want to fork over 100 bucks or more. But I should be getting him from a trusted source so hopefully when i have the money, I can purchase it. Good review and you probably wont respond to this but if you do, let me know what you think about far from home since the spoiler ban was lifted. ✌😁
I really liked far from home it was a good movie. I some what dont like that they made mysterio not have actual powers but it was a good movie. An I definitely understand people because there is a big difference between $100 and $25 for this figure. But I really did like this figure thought it was dope especially the magnetic hands an feet. Far from home is better than both AMSM films, but it ain't iconic as the Raimi Trilogy.
@@kennythetrend3688 Ehhh, I think it has its problems but Far From Home has better story and acting but it also has no Uncle Ben..but I like all the Spiderman Movies. Even Spiderman 3 (Which kinda sucks, but its just so damn funny and somewhat decent it deserves some love lol)....at least in my eyes...the worst one of them all is Tasm Spiderman 2....but even then I found things to enjoy in that movie...like The suit, the music (Which was amazing and you should check it out) and some of the Spiderman CGI was pretty good and not stick figure Web Swinging Spiderman.
I got the fake one on Amazon I’m returning it and gonna try to find another figure at Walmart or target on the photos on Amazon it had the real box but I got a bootleg

I bought a venom mafex on amazon with the title being mafex mafekkusu. Is what I just bought a fake?
It's possible, but mafekkusu being spelled that way is probably because that's how it's pronounced in Japanese; kinda like how some people spell Japanese Spider-man as Supaidaman.

@@morganz3694 I'd get 2 different fakes if I had the money so that I can either have 1 that is good and one not as good, or have 2 that are both great. Plus, spare parts if any of them break or get lost. But that's what I would do.

Your better off buying the SV Action bootleg and those were pretty good figures from when I opened them and they dont have that high price.

I havent bought extra parts but I always find on ebay and amazon you usually can find the pieces but some you may need to repaint.

I wouldnt suggest the fake if you are going to play with it. It is too fragile to play with. If you are displaying then I think it would be fine.

I dont think there is one for a reasonable price sad to say. This figure is selling for 150-175 opened. Best place to get it cheaper would be like a comic con just make sure it has the logos on it.

Holy Moses the bootleg is awful. I have the real one but was thinking getting a bootleg one to play around with , so I could just keep the real one in my display to only take out to give it a new pose.
Ya the fake version is pretty bad. I mean its good if you want to customize it for find the right position that it doesnt look so bad in lol. But bootleg is definitely not as good as the real one in this case.

Not from what I have seen. For Mafex at least but I could be wrong. I know some of the sh figuarts one have the marvel logo but mafex.
I have a bl wolverine, it’s ok but to have the actual is lot better. Not going to buy the bl anymore after having the real one. And also, bl one broke when I barely moved it around.

I strongly disagree. If it was pure garbage, it would be gummy and break while unboxing it. And if you don't like the figure, you got a bunch of web pieces and a stand that you can use for other action figures. Personally, I think it's a bargan.
