Ooooh! I love that June + Vie piece! I wear an XL to 1X and once bought a 3X cheetah print maxi dress because it buttoned down the front and I could wear it unbuttoned over a solid color maxi as a duster jacket. Perfect!
The RSVP line on Draper James is the lower end line that they now sell at Kohls.
Thanks! Did not know that. I think it'll still do well.
Even mainstay can sell for good money.
cat stuff really are great pick-ups. & i've picked up some solitaire and it's a sitter for me but that 3x piece should do great.
🤞🤞🤞
Wow. I’ve been passing up some of this. Great content. Thanks again. 🤩🤑
I just got 4 new dresses cottagcore style maxi sooo excited to see how they do
Sonoma Plus Size Linen Wide Leg pants sold in one day for me. I was very surprised.
Just sold a cashmere sweater short sleeves just like this one but a different brand (Alex Marie? Never heard of it before)- it sold in 1 day. 1X size too.
Yay!
Oh my goodness! So my husband and I was sourcing from the bins a bunch recently and found those type of pants (like the Sonoma brand) it does not matter what brand just had to be size 12 and up and that style and they’d sell so fast! I was picking them up like crazy! Lol 😂 but it’s true! That style for some reason 🤷🏻♀️
It's so odd but I'm so happy I learned about it lol
I have a question about calculated shipping. Do you have to include measurements and weight in the listing and photos? Or can it be done after purchase? Btw, love the updo!
Thanks! Best practice is to do weighing and measuring during the drafting process that way your buyer gets charged correctly for the calculated shipping. You do not need to include it in photos it's just something we do to make the listing process easier for us. You can additionally adjust when you go to ship after the purchase if it's a little off.
@@cayleyelaine Thank you 😊
This is very helpful!
Cayley…thank you for all you do. I’m having trouble with finding the sell through rate on items, and also my post office has a skeleton crew and my stuff keeps getting shipped late…I want to do this. It’s my passion/calling. I’m just struggling with the basics. Getting discouraged…My negative comments due to shipping issues is a problem. Any suggestions? Please and thank you.
If you make sure they scan the packages the day of then you should be fine even if they take an extra day to ship. Do you have another post office nearby?
Do you have a rule or guideline for deciding whet is a decent or doable buy-in price?
I aim for $5 into $25 and adjust from there.
Since you mentioned Madewell- do you ever sell the plus size jeans? I have 2 pairs of NWT plus size jeans which I've had listed over a year and no interest whatsoever. They're priced around 40. They are in some weird sizing like labeled a 37 but I looked up the size chart and conversion. I've listed them as the tagged size and as the usual size in plus sizing (plus size 24) and no luck. I wish I could figure out how to get them to sell. Tbh this is the example I always point to when people say plus sizes sell better than smaller sizes because a lot of the time it's not true for me. I think I'm just better at selling small sizes.
It depends on the style. I've had a hard time moving the plus size ones too.
Do you feel like Calvin Klein sells well? I come across it all the time, but im hesitant to buy the brand.
It really depends on what it is. The plus sizes do well for me.
Hi Cayley! I'm interested in being a wholesaler for you. What should I do?
Send us an email at welltraveledclothiers@gmail.com and we can discuss! Looking forward to talking to you.
I would call that ModCloth cat print a dirndl skirt rather than fit and flare. Could be wrong, but my ancient seamstress skilz say dirndl skirt.
I'll have to look that one up!
