I love my L5P, got a 2018 Silverado 3500 LTZ picked it up a week ago. I only wish I could get rid of the DEF crap because it really is annoying when you see a 10mpg drop during the re-gen cycle.

I installed a derringer on an L5P along with the pedal monster and man what a difference that made in the throttle response.
That LMM looks incredible man! Just like the ole LB7⊠I love it!
Josh... Consider using POR 15 high temp paint on your exhaust manifolds. It has stainless steel in the paint and your cast iron manifolds will never rust. An added benefit is that it will get rid of some of the residual heat. I did a 85k 1955 Pontiac Star Chief convertible and 10 years later it still looks new.... Just my .02 from Duluth.

For the plug clean up, if you find a parts/junker gmt800 gas job, thereâs a massive piece of split loom (weâre talking 4â in diameter) under the fuse box where the harness comes out the bottom to feed the ecm. that will cover duramax harness plugs, usually since theyâre covered by the fuse box/relay center they donât get weathered so theyâre nice and shiny. You may be able to order something comparable, Iâve just never seen anything like it in any parts store so I always steal them off any gas job part outs that come my way

I like it. Solid improvements that don't hurt oem components and might lessen regen times both during and in between cycles. And of course engine performance improvement.
You are absolutely correct
For the plastic harness clips you can use lacquer thinner and a little brush. Just put some cloth under the plugs so you donât get it anywhere else and just wipe it clean.

Get a pack of the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers [kitchen and bathroom cleaning products]. They should easily clean up that plug. They work very well on windows and brightwork... rims, grills etc..

I have a Banks Derringer on my 17 duramax. I really like the display and the customization of it. Iâm not exactly sure if the tuner makes the truck any faster. If it does itâs very minuscule. Iâm eventually going to just delete the truck, as it will be used for (off-road) farm use. But Iâd say itâs a decent emissions compliant tuner. But not worth the hefty price tag
An additional 60hp/100tq should be noticable.

Gm dealer found metal shavings in my 2022 3500 AT4 LP5 duramax while changing fuel filter with 12,000 miles. I made them change entire fuel system injectors, fuel rail, fuel lines, fuel pump etc but I had to go hard on them to get this approved.
Why did this happen? I bought the Truck brand new?
Hey dude. It would be awesome. To see a stock Dyno run. And then a Dyno run with each added part. to see what you're actually gaining. And if it's doing anything. I always wish guys would do that on these channels lol. I loved it when you did the blue L5P with the cold & and boost tubes from HSP. Seeing real world results is what makes one purchase these products thanks!

I have a question truckmaster. I just got my truck back from the shop, it a 06 lbz, I had 100hp over injectors installed, 650hp custom built turbo, egr delete, s&b cold air intake, fass fuel system, installed, edge ct3 monitor, I have ppe programmer from idaho rob, had that for like 10 years in the truck. Now my baby does nothing but have black smoke blowing out the tail. Do you have any recommendations on how to get it to stop smoking? Even when idling its smoking black, you have any ideas on what I need to do? New tunes, I'm from canada so i dont give a shit about how your epa is hitting eveyone.
What kind of degreaser did you use and did you have to cover anything when you sprayed it on

Your videos are making me want to ditch my old 7.3 and get something newer with more power. It's just hard to get over the fact that my 7.3 has been the most reliable truck I've ever owned, but its also the slowest.

Question? Iâm all in using gasket maker but I have always used it in addition to the oem gasket. Why donât you? Do you get leaks?
I use the good stuff but for upper gaskets itâs really not that serious

Hey I could use some help. Bought an 03 lb7. Iâm having major ac problems. I got receipts in the glove box with the truck that shows a lot of work thatâs been done to get the ac going. They even put in a new computer. So thereâs been at least $1,500-$2,000 put into it just to get the ac working. If anyone has time to talk and give some help Iâd appreciate it.
