  • This is the Citroen AMI! A very funny looking thing, this is France's idea of revolutionising city driving. But has it worked?
This review was part of the SMMT Test Day we attended a few weeks ago. We know that this review isn't as in depth or as long as our other ones are and that's because we had limited time with the car! Either way, we hope you enjoyed it.

Cool reg plate. I do admire when manufacturers produce cars/quadricycles like this. Not that it’s worth £8k to most people but it’s something new and actually interesting on the road which isn’t a common site these days. You’ve done well with filming in the time frame given guys, well done! 👏

I don’t think it’s worth 8k either but I definitely see your point too! Cheers matey

The doors open that way, because those are also the same panels but flipped. Like the front and rear panels. Cost saving measures.

And they're still far too expensive for what they are

absolutely brilliant channel man! Just found it from TikTok earlier today and had to take a look and I gotta say the production quality really is quite good!

It engine brakes all the time, so its a bit unusual. Only switching to N makes car roll. Other than that, its good.

      @CarCultureClub  Před měsícem +1

Very unusual for sure but I suppose it makes sense for a car that barely does 30mph! :)

How’s the value of one of these going to hold up? Perhaps rhetorical question!

We will have to see 😅 judging by the second hand electric car market already, it’s definitely not looking good. Maybe it’ll be more worth it in a couple years time?

Concept is good, and some design, but twice the price it should be, and engineering quality is dreadfull, as shown on some YT videos.

    Even@ £8K Its overpriced.
    Limited functionality, range and appeal.
It could be of interest for hire companies, but even that is doubtful as most European cities have efficient public transport.

    bad points
28mph is painfully bad, if you drive a car at 30 in a 30 you will have many behind trying to bully you out the way so imagine the abuse at 28 and in a small plastic vehicle.
    Way too expensive at £7700
Needing a CBT bike licence in UK yet in France you don't need anything AND be 14+ years old, good old rippoff Britain doing it's best to keep folk down.

To be fair,it's not really intended for our of city use.
