I reckon I’ll do a good run through a few of the crews setups on the Simpson Desert trip! But you’re bang on, that Ranger will go everywhere it’s pointed. They’re a solid rig!

Ok so, I did go and buy the ingredients for a pina colada and tried to make it the same way you did. I now know why it was meh... You really need a blender to get the ingredients to mix properly. If you take a small blander you can use from an inverter try this recipe. Rum (about 60ml or a bit more if you like it strong), pineapple juice (about 200ml) 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk, 2 table spoons of thickened cream, 60ml coconut cream (good quality brand only). If you don't use a blender the ingredients won't combine properly to get that nice creamy texture. Scale up the recipe as desired. I am drinking one now and it is delicious :)

Fantastic episode, proper white rum n not dark rum would change the taste big time, also some lime juice.
That sea fog was pretty special, would of been good to be on the dunes as it rolled in

Would normally use white rum for that kind of thing, but read a few recipes suggesting dark rum so thought I’d give it a go- don’t recommend it 🤣

Cam, get the cruisers turbo bolts checked to see if your one is on the recall list with Toyota. Mine were found to be loose and Toyota had it for days. Big problem if they let to dirt past the seals into the engine.

If you want even easier pina colada buy some Bundaberg pineapple and coconut drinks and just mix with rum.

What range do these vehicles have?
Yeah it was 3 - 4 hours from the Nullarbor to the coast. I cover economy/range etc in the last episode. With the factory tank I have about 800kms range onroad, 500kms offroad.
You wouldn’t be saying comfort if you ended up with a 70 series haha!

What fridge slide does Duffy have looking for same for my ranger
i have a standard fridge slide but i bought some hingers and set it on some chip board and carpeted it so its a tilt fringe just need a handle and straps to adjust how much tilt cost me about $250

Google maps has it pinned in the wrong spot. It’s between pt culver and Israelite bay 👍🏼

Loving this series. Your starting to sound like Pat Callan. The Amarok, was the best, then the Ranger, now its the Everest. I think we tell ourselves that it's the best, to justify the amount of money we spend on it 😉😉😉🤣🤣. You'd hardly say, geez I wish I had a 79 right now.

Not sure mate! Don’t know him personally, just bumped into him late last year on Christmas Island (where his last vids have been).
Can't drive on that tide time anymore on Stradbroke Island. The Local Black Fellas have canned all 4wding 1hr/15min either side of high and low tide. So no more chasing hight tide gutters for fishing for us white fellas who have been doing that many many decades.
Seriously. I can't believe how you are stuffing up your 300 before even beginning the lap with your family. You are weird. Your expensive lovely 300 already looks 5 years old.
