Who the hell is Cole!? Isn't scorpions entire motivation that everyone in his clan was ended? Like seriously no survivors...
So Cole is a completely different character. The reason is either WB or whoever wants someone that is a completely new for the audience to follow. Fans of the franchise get who the characters are, however for a Joe Shoe guys that never heard of it, and don’t know who to follow, they have someone in Cole.
@@WhoIsThatGuy1I get that but at the same time mk has more than enough characters that Cole is literally useless, they had so many lore friendly characters to choose from for the role of someone to dump exposition to so the audience that knows nothing about mk can understand and identify with that Cole still makes no sense, besides that the guy in charge said he created Cole because he didn't want Johnny Cage to be the lead which is just proof that they knew nothing about mk since Liu Kang was the chosen one
