    That last method is absolutely magic! I often have to clip plants and trees to place on renderings and most are not on solid color backgrounds. Nearly every example of clipping masks for complex objects is a tree on a solid blue sky. In my work I rarely find photos that clean. I've even tried the Mask AI and so so many CZcams tutorials, asked colleagues, you name it. I've never found a good solution...until now! I can't thank you enough! This video should be included as orientation information in every landscape architecture program! Thank you!

    OMG, Jesús! CTRL clicking on the new layer icon to create the layer below... That is a genius tip! I always mess up my clipped layers. I know of the ALT + new layer trick, but this tip is much more practical. After almost 25 years of using Photoshop, I'm always learning new things!

      You just gave me a whole new reason to use Dodge and Burn! I've used the channel copy trick for a long time, but never with those tools. And creating a tree brush for your mask was brilliant!
