I mean this game is just a copy of Dragon Ball Shin Budokai and I mean literally, cuz all they did was change some characters skins with evolution, if you pick both game and look to Grandpa Gohan and Trunks they basically have the same fighting pose, grab and combo(1:21 is the only different attack Grandpa Gohan have)

Mai was a forgotten character. back when goku was a kid. she's actually one of the weaker foes goku faces alone with a small fox person that's meant to be good with a sword that's also with mai. they appear again in Dragon Ball Super but as kids. because at some point those two and there leader were wished to become kids. but in the future Mai's Trunks's girlfriend at goku black arc. and no she's not a badass the way evolution puts her out to be. also answer another question. yes master roshi trained grandpa gohan.
