Which kayak should I take on the water for the next video?
👉🏼 12:47
could you make a video of basic things for new kayak fishers like me.
Absolutely Tuke!
I love this feedback. Do you have anything specific you want me to hit on? I will work up a “beginner basics” video for the kayak series.
I will also take each of these models out on the water and put you in the seat. There is a lot to learn when it comes to kayak fishing and I’m here to help!
@@tightlinerush i have a feelfree 11.5 paddle v2 and i would love something about like what stuff you think you dont need but could be really usefull or something that many people does wrong.
Something like that you can also decide.
Sounds fun! Do you mind if I share your comment on the video? Stay tuned 👀
@@tightlinerush of course not can't wait to see the video.
I’d love to put one in layaway for next season! I’ll be checking them out!
They will do layaway but I’m not sure how long. The fall feed is coming up…
Our rivers should be on fire soon!
I bought my Old Town Sportsman 120 PDL from Strictly Sail. Great kayak, especially for fatty's like me. the pedal drive is amazing
Strictly Sail has a great team. They are all very knowledgeable and helped me pick out the best kayak for my needs. I can’t wait to get into the Old Town PDL! They look really nice!
What color did you go with?
I’m just getting in the kayaks but coming from somebody that used to rice bugs I’m not really sold slipper action
What’s rice bugs?
Very nice video ! I have a jackson kayak kraken 13.5 elite very nice ! I will buy a Vibe Shearwater 125! Greeting from Chile 🇨🇱 in South America!
Freddy, thanks for the comment!
I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the video all the way from Chile 🇨🇱
The vibe Shearwater is another great option. What color are you going with?
Tight lines out there from the United States 🇺🇸 🎣
Thank you very much for sharing such a beautiful video💓👌
I’m happy you enjoyed it! I spent weeks researching kayaks before buying mine. Which is what inspired this video series.
I wanted all major brands and models in one package - LOADED with information.
Nice line up, I'll be watching for all the individual reviews. I'm about to buy my first kayak, I'm leaning hard on the Feel Free Moken 12.5 PDL. What I'm looking for is something to fish with as well as paddle around when I'm with friends. It needs to be stable but also be fun to paddle. I'll fish lakes, rivers, an the Great Lakes, so stability is a priority without getting to carried away. I know i want it all in one kayak, that's why I'm here learning.
Thanks for checking out the video. This should be a fun informative series!
The Moken looks like a great rig. You will see it soon. We’ll do a shop review on each model. Then I’ll take you on the water for a first person perspective.
Great video guys, luv the kayak line up. I’m a little hobie biased tho, been on some of the others but something about those hobies feel different . 😂😂😂
Glad you liked it man! I love my Hobie Outback. I’ve ad a few other brands and I have 0 regrets! I plan to get on each of these kayaks for an individual video. It should be a great series 👀
I just got the hobie pro angler 12 with the 360 drive but I have yet to take it out I'm still working on getting the fish finder setup in going next week
Nice! What color did you go with???
@@tightlinerush I went with that green and black one from your video
@@fingerscrossedfishing great choice!!! I have the Outback in the same color. The camo hides dirt really well. Look up Tight Line Rush on Facebook and be sure to drop me a picture of that beauty! I want to see how you rig it up.
Yeah definitely I'm hoping to have a video for it soon to
Looking forward to it!
Out of all of the kayaks what is the best bang for the buck pedal drive kayak?
It will be used for fishing around bridges and in strong current.
Also a decent amount of traffic so has to be steady.
I dont need all the crazy bells and whistles but I also dont want one that’s going to break on me. Thanks!
Forgot to say in salt water!
Honestly, Hands down the BEST pedal kayak I’ve tried so far is the Hobie Outback.
I ended up buying one for myself last year. Very stable and the best bang for your buck. They thought of everything.
I primarily fish the river and it handles current great. Check out some of my other videos if you would like to see for yourself.
I work with Strictly Sail and will be making videos on all of these models you see here. No sponsorship to any specific brand.
Is the pa14 noticeably more stable than the pa12 or not really?
I haven’t had the chance to compare the 2 but it will happen soon. I don’t think there will be a major difference in stability. My outback is a 12 and I can stand and move around in it.
The only thing about putting the rectangle bin in the compass is that the tub does not fit. The edges of the tub hit the bottom part of the hull (V shape) and wont sit all the way down.
I wonder how other people do it🤔 My outback comes with the rectangular hatch and I’ve seen others do clean installs.
@@tightlinerush they used to sell a shallow hatch and discontinued it. They may have it back now.
They makes sense. I didn’t know they discontinued it. They are missing out on money!
I would love to buy that Hobie PA 14 360, but unfortunately it has too many problems with the drive. Hopefully Hobie will figure it out.
What issues are you having?
I think it’s a really cool design but I own the out Outback. I haven’t had any issues with the 180!
The 360 drives had issues when they were first released, but they've fixed the issues on the newer models. I've got a '22 PA 12 360 and haven't had any issues with the drive.
@@brandongaron916 a friend of mine bought a '22 PA 14 360 and the drive broke about 6 months after he bought it. It's been with Hobie now for about 2 months.
@@brandongaron916 I ended up buying an AutoPilot this past weekend. Still haven't got it on the water yet. Been getting it set up.
@@XploreAz I’m not saying they won’t break at all, I’m just referring to the common issues that came with the first 360 drives that were released.
why no price point on the Yaks?
I’ll be doing individual kayak reviews on each of these models. These videos will have more details and I’ll include the price!
Where is this at?
Strictly Sail is near Cincinnati Ohio.
If the Kaku Zulu isn't on your list, your list is NOT complete!
I need to check it out then!
Do it, you won't regret it:) It is heavy, but VERY versatile and customizable, not to mention as stable as a kayak can possibly be, with a high load capacity (500lbs) for the big guys and their gear:) The seat is probably my favoritest thing about it, as you can sit on it, stand on it, or sit on the backrest(it's designed for this), and if you really want to you could even stand on the backrest:) I have yet to see a kayak that is as customizable as the Zulu, and it also has over 13'(yes Feet) of track on it. Last but not least, the Zulu is also VERY affordable for what you are getting:)
'The Little Stuff' CZcams channel shows 2 Zulus fully decked out. Definitely worth the watch:)
