How to Cook Boneless Pork Chops - NoRecipeRequired.com

  • Boneless pork chops make a great, simple and tasty meal. But only if you cook them well!!! Pork is already very lean, and very easy to dry out during cooking. And once the bone comes off the pork chop, it's even easier to over cook them.
Worse, cooked at a low temp, they get no color. And no flavor.
Here, I'm going to show you how to quick pan sear a few boneless pork chops, get lots of color on the outside, while keeping the center tender and juicy. As an added bonus, we'll through a garlic and thyme in at the end to make a quick and easy sauce.
Give them a try and let me know what you think.
Given these methods a try, and I guarantee that your baked pork tenderloin will come out great every time.

Tried it today for the first time and it was the best porkchops I've ever had! I didn't really belive that they can get cooked so fast so I fried them for a little longer than suggested, but they turned out to be a little to dry, so if you wanna try it for yourself follow the instructions precisely. Thank you сhef!

Sorry to be more than 2 years + later but I just now finished making and eating this!
I threw mushrooms into the sauce as well! I put in about half a clove of garlic cut into small pieces.
The fresh thyme is fantastic! I eat all the leaves, leaving only the stems on the plate.

I used some ideas here and took it a little farther from what I learned from cooking chicken breast in an electric skillet. So why wouldnt it work with chops. I first seared both sides of each chop in a butter and oil combo in the skillet , then added diced onion, diced garlic , and butter. then added about 1/2 maybe a cup of water put the lid on when the water started bubbling against the lid turned the heat down to 250, set the timer for 10min. This also made a nice sauce which I also added onto the chops. This turned out awesome could cut the chops easily with a fork.

Instead of water, try adding your choice of stock (chicken stock works great) to take it to that next level. Also some thyme or rosemary gives the sauce a nice fragrant touch.

I actually bought a top loin roast. I didn't know what to do with it and I knew that I didn't want to bake it. I came across your recipe and it seemed so easy. So I sliced the loin roast into 1 inch chops. I pounded it out a bit because there was not that much fat on the meat. I cooked it exactly the way you did and they came out amazing. Thank you for a great recipe that so easy.

It’s as simple as it looks. Pork loin is jam packed with flavor, salt and pepper are all you really need. Any herb stronger than thyme will overpower the dish, stick to salt, pepper, garlic, and thyme.
I did substitute oil with duck fat and the intensity of the extra savory flavor is AMAZING. Spoon basting with duck fat and butter constantly, it will make pan searing all kinds of meat even tastier.
The only thing I would keep an eye out for is to make sure the thyme and garlic don’t burn. Butter mixed with oil helps reduce chances of scorching your food, but burnt garlic will get bitter and ruin the dish. Definitely a full fat glove of garlic or substitute with garlic powder or garlic salt, it should yield a similar flavor profile.
Another trick I learned with resting meat: when the juices settle after a few minutes, put the cuts on another plate, and stir in a couple of drops of acidity: just 2 or 3 small drops of lemon juice or malt vinegar, give it a little stir on the plate, and roll your chops in the juices. It cuts through the richness of the dish and just elevates the flavors into a thoughtful meal. 👍

I would just want to point out that along with a hot enough pan, make sure it’s big enough, like he did, to have space between each pork chop, otherwise you start to steam the meat and it will dry out. Also, I like how he added the butter towards the end, because butter will burn faster than the oil. Those r two things I’ve learned over the years that he did do right, but he didn’t really say and beginner cooks might not have picked up on…. And obviously, always rest the meat after cooking, for about five minutes…. It allows the juices to come back into the meat… all things he did perfect…

So I have a newer electric stove, so I don’t think high means what he says it means in this video. The chops ended up burning on the outside and underdone on the inside while setting off the fire alarms (with the stove vent going full blast) so my wife wasn’t happy with my efforts. All that to say be careful with the temperature if you’re using an electric stovetop.

I have some gorgeous Iberico chops that I am afraid of destroying. It's rare that an ingredient intimidates me, but this video took the edge off. Thanks!

Ah, the traveling endless summer miles in the trusty Chevy Brookwood, stopping at HOJO's, Dad hollering, "Don't go in there and try to take the place over"!, opening of the door, the cool air conditioning hitting you in the face along with a wisp of ciggarette smoke, sitting at the counter ordering nice bowl of orange sherbert. Good Times!

A tip for you would be recording over footage one of the benefits besides the audience being able to hear your voice. Is that you can set up lines and perfect the way you speak because when you're cooking it's just one chance to get it right
